The meal was delicious, featuring authentic Aveyron cuisine. The flavors were genuine, the quality extraordinary, and the portions were more than generous. 25/08/2026: This place had been highly recommended to us, and the Google reviews were glowing... But what a huge disappointment 😞 The location is very peaceful, a beautiful farmhouse. Parking is easy. The dining room we were seated in was pleasant enough, but nothing special. Looking at the menu at the entrance, I thought, "I'm not going to be able to eat all of this!" Unfortunately, the portions were stingy. It felt like a "farm tasting menu": a small piece of dry sausage (2 bites), a small slice of country terrine (3 bites), the famous pascade (sorry, but it was tasteless except for the strong fermented flavor? And yet there's no yeast?), and the stuffed cabbage (4 bites). But the absolute worst part was the roast chicken, which was supposed to be the main course! It's shameful to serve a wing that was nothing but bones and a quarter of a chicken breast for two adults! A tasting of three small cheese samples. Forget the cheese platter from the Google photos 😢 As for dessert, it wasn't any better. And the coffee...? As you can see, the portions of the dishes on this €30 Sunday menu are meager, very meager! The service is far too slow because all the tables are served at once. All that's missing is a trolley to take us back to our childhood school cafeterias with their Arcopal plates and stainless steel trays. What's more, the portions aren't at all equitable between the different tables, strange indeed 🤔 The quality of the ingredients is excellent, it must be said, but for a €30 farm-to-table menu, one expects much better. Perhaps this appeals to city dwellers passing through, but if you know the good restaurants in the area, you know you won't be repeating the experience! Plenty of establishments between Salle Curan and Rodez offer cheaper, more generous menus of the same quality. I apologize for this negative review, but honestly, seeing such reviews online doesn't seem consistent with my experience this summer. Sincerely

02/07/2026: In a friendly setting with pleasant decor that complements the lake, we received a very warm welcome early evening on a weekday from a helpful, dynamic, efficient, and well-managed team. They occasionally host live music evenings. The place is very popular with locals and tourists alike, so we recommend making a reservation. There's a semi-covered terrace and an indoor dining area. Outside, in one section, you can enjoy a drink with your feet in the sand, play pétanque, or even try your hand at pinball indoors—everything is designed for relaxation. The food is good and plentiful ☺️. You won't be disappointed, and if you have any questions, the owner and his team are attentive and dedicated to ensuring everything runs smoothly! The restrooms were clean. There's parking nearby, and the lake offers amenities such as water sports and bike rentals.

27/06/2026: The pizzas are awful, they're frozen! We ordered 8 and not one of us could finish them, they were so disgusting.
