25/08/2026: I agree with the comments posted previously.
The owner was dishonest regarding the bill.
Obviously, when you're not from around here and you come to eat with 17 people, you trust them when it comes time to pay.
Then, when it came time to pay, no bill was presented.
Ultimately, upon reflection, there were no prices displayed, so it was very difficult to know what we actually consumed and therefore what we owed the restaurant.
Even by grossly inflating the prices to get an idea, there was a €100 difference between our estimate and the final bill.
If you try to ask the owner for your bill a few days later, it's never a good time to call him (worse, at first he didn't even want to send it because he knew he hadn't made a mistake).
A place to absolutely avoid.

15/06/2026: We spent our holidays there for six years, one of my fondest holiday memories. A very welcoming family and excellent service. I loved having breakfast there. The setting and surroundings are superb; there's plenty to do, like Lake Pareloup and the Aveyron region, which is fantastic. I have fond memories of the St. John's Day bonfires and the skittles game in the square – excellent! Greetings from Sète to you all.
25/05/2026: We had a lovely evening at the restaurant. The service was as excellent as the food.

I love the authenticity and simplicity of the traditional cuisine.

20/09/2026: An excellent spot on the shores of Lake Pareloup! The setting is simply sublime and very pleasant. The welcome was absolutely incredible, and the staff and servers were remarkably kind. The service is quick and the food is very, very good. A truly wonderful discovery that I wholeheartedly recommend!
02/07/2026: In a friendly setting with pleasant decor that complements the lake, we received a very warm welcome early evening on a weekday from a helpful, dynamic, efficient, and well-managed team. They occasionally host live music evenings.
The place is very popular with locals and tourists alike, so we recommend making a reservation.
There's a semi-covered terrace and an indoor dining area. Outside, in one section, you can enjoy a drink with your feet in the sand, play pétanque, or even try your hand at pinball indoors—everything is designed for relaxation.
The food is good and plentiful ☺️. You won't be disappointed, and if you have any questions, the owner and his team are attentive and dedicated to ensuring everything runs smoothly!
The restrooms were clean. There's parking nearby, and the lake offers amenities such as water sports and bike rentals.
