27/07/2026: We stumbled upon L'Aubergin at the port of La Besse, and honestly, what a find! What I really appreciated was their focus on local products. The dishes are homemade, and even the ice cream and beer are craft-brewed—you can taste the difference, nothing industrial, everything is prepared with care. The cocktails are fantastic, the butcher's cut was superb, and the vegetarian options were great too; there's something for everyone. The servers are lovely, genuinely enthusiastic and always smiling; we felt welcome as soon as we walked in. A quick dip in the Viaur River between courses, homemade ice cream for dessert… what more could you ask for? There was a concert in the evening, creating a relaxed, family atmosphere.
