14/09/2024: On m’avait beaucoup parlé de ce restaurant et plus particulièrement de sa viande. Accueil plutôt simple, salle assez petite et bruyante car souvent complet. Plats aux alentours des 30€ mais viandes parfaitement cuites au feu et frites maisons. Grosso modo, produits frais, qualité, et cuisinés. Pas l’attrape touriste du coin. Le vrai restaurant pour les amateurs de viandes. Je recommande et je testerai bientôt les pizzas

01/08/2024: Restaurant where we stopped by chance, after seeing the Gallo-Roman amphitheater, to eat. Seen from the outside the restaurant is very simple, nicer inside and To our great surprise, good meals, well prepared and delicious 😋

Classic, but here the welcome and especially the service are really nice. So no hesitation if you want to not worry and eat for a reasonable price.
And what’s more, dogs are allowed and well treated 😀

16/08/2024: For a first in a butcher shop restaurant, very surprised but positive, we took the menus for 35€ with starter, main course and dessert, the starter was very good, the main course was perfect, the cooking of the meat was perfect and the dessert too , we will come back with pleasure

07/09/2024: Le cadre est sympathique et l'accueil agréable. Mais nous avons été déçus par la brasérade : la viande n'est pas très tendre , elle n'a pas beaucoup de goût et supporterait une marinade . Les lamelles de viande sont de grosseur inégale . Nous ne retournerons pas au Brasero tout de suite ...

15/09/2024: We went for lunch. My partner had a tuna steak which was delicious and I had mussels and fries with blue cheese which was also delicious. In addition, a very beautiful terrace as background music with very beautiful music to create a pleasant atmosphere. The waitress was very nice. Congratulations to the whole team and the owner.
We are going back tomorrow evening before leaving this wonderful island.
15/09/2024: Attentive staff, very good roasted camembert and tasty mussels with cream. Lost brioche and frosted chocolate mousse, very good and plentiful!

12/09/2024: Very very happy with my stay in this warm and classy establishment, with a very pleasant and discreet welcome and service.
Regarding the cuisine, quite honestly we were a couple and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the products and the way they were cooked, for a very very reasonable price.

29/08/2024: Nice surprise! We went there quite randomly on the way back from Oléron last Friday. The complete menu (head) and around 24 euros. The presentation is neat and the dishes are very good. The meats are cooked in front of us in the fireplace. We see that the bosses love their job, they are very welcoming. The places seem to have been recently renovated. Hygiene seems impeccable (rare to see giant toilets so clean).

04/09/2024: Ridiculous burger at €16.90 for a 100g steak, the rubbery bread is a total aberration, the waiters were polite no problem but in terms of food it's a shame at that price. At least we will have had a good laugh but I won't go back and watch this sketch

30/08/2024: Restaurant proche de la sortie 37 de l'autoroute Paris-Bordeaux. Accueil sympathique, service rapide et cuisine maison savoureuse. La pièce de boeuf (200g!) était excellente, cuite juste saignante comme je l'avais souhaité, parfaite avec son accompagnement de frites maison et la salade de mâche. Même excellente impression pour le plat de tagliatelles servi à mon épouse. En dessert, les crèmes brûlées étaient délicieuses, faites dans les règles de l'art, comme en Catalogne ! Une chouette étape sur le chemin du retour de vacances. A refaire !
15/08/2024: Situé au centre de Mirambeau, ce restaurant offre un bel espace a sa clientèle. Le patron blague à froid ce qui peut surprendre au départ mais la situation se détend au fur et à mesure. La cuisine est faite maison et les plats sont copieux et très bon. Nous nous sommes arrêtés lors de notre trajet après être sortis de l'autoroute et nous n'avions pas réservé. Nous n'avons pas été déçus. Allez-y sans craintes.

As much on the restaurant side as on the fishing side
Dirty restaurant, unfriendly owners
On the fishing side, no maintenance, everyone does what they want, no one supervises
The boss doesn't care about everything
What a shame to abandon this pleasant place
We miss the previous owners
06/08/2024: With a family view of the lake, the new owners have been operational since February 2024, generous dishes and good fresh produce. Joyful boss who listens to her customers. Humor and seriousness in the service and presentation. Many thanks, we will come back and talk about it around us. We wish you a wonderful season, before your well-deserved mini vacation.
