07/09/2024: We have been coming for at least 5 years and we have regretfully noted the decline of this all-you-can-eat restaurant.
The prices have continued to rise while the quality and dishes offered are barely passable now.
We won't come back again.

I have been coming for 4 years and I have only noticed the deterioration of this restaurant
Last night 3 kinds of sushi trays all the time empty, salads the same
But the price hasn't decreased so I don't understand this lack of choice
The heat is not possible and the water is not fresh

15/09/2024: Horrible.. Frites qui se battent en duel, steak à point dans le burger, on ne peut pas choisir sa cuisson. Les 2 burgers sont arrivés froid, je déconseille ce restaurant fortement.

16/08/2024: I received a very warm welcome at Bar Tabac Le France! I had come to buy postcards, being on vacation in Annecy. Only one display with the cards intended for tourists, but it was more than enough to cover my needs. The rates were very affordable, which is not common in tourist towns. I just regret that they ran out of stamps, but in these times it's understandable. Anyway, the post office is not far...
23/07/2024: I buy for €20 (cigarettes + sweets for the children), I pay by credit card. I turn around because I forgot to buy a bottle of water for my daughter. And I am told that the minimum per card is €10. I explain that I just bought €20 worth of sweets including €6, I just forgot to add the bottle of water. Bank charges are largely covered. The tobacconist doesn't want to know anything. He suggests I go buy my bottle of water elsewhere.
You have the right to not be nice but at least learn to count! Even with bank charges you would have made money on this bottle of water sold for €2 and certainly bought for 40 cents. I will avoid your tobacco as much as possible in the future. (PS: it was Sunday July 21 around 3 p.m., it was hot and impossible to buy water elsewhere)

It’s certainly not great cuisine, but that’s okay! .The servers were friendly and helpful...
20/02/2024: The service is OK, the waiter is conscientious, but the food is absolutely tasteless.
A burger for 22 euros, everything is industrial. The meat is certainly cooked on site but without flavor.
It's overpriced for the quality.
I don't recommend.

04/07/2024: Serveur extrêmement désagréable et de mauvaise foi. Erreur de commande. Incapable de prendre deux commandes identiques en même temps. Attente de plus d'une heure pour être servi. Le slogan affiché sur la devanture du restaurant précise accueil avec le sourire. Nous le cherchons toujours ! On peut espérer un peu de professionnalisme, c'est loin d'être le cas. Il paraît que la restauration a du mal à recruter du personnel compétent : je confirme ! Bon courage si vous optez pour ce "restaurant". Belle découverte !!! Ci-après la banderole d'accueil. Si j'avais pu noté zéro.... Mais cette possibilité n'est pas offerte !!!
12/05/2024: Nous avant été accueilli par un jeune serveur très polis qui nous a pris notre commande mais ensuite nous avant attendu 30min pour mangé notre entre et 1h30 de plus pour qu’on puisse avoir nos plat je trouve sa du n’importe quoi car après 1h20 d’attente on reviens vers nous en nous demandent si on a déjà étais servis des salades par une serveuse très nonchalante qui nous regarde très mal et ensuite le chef de salle nous parle mal et il cite “ sortez de MON restaurant ”

25/06/2024: We first visited just after the second covid confinement, after a change of management. We were very happy we did.
The menu in winter is pretty standard, but to my view the quality is better than in many places. In summer however the barbeque is excellent, the spare ribs a particular treat.
The staff are really friendly.
29/02/2024: This should be your first and last stop on Chamonix. The food was amazing, the service was brilliant and the atmosphere was just rustic and charming. We were very lucky to get a table and so happy we did. Even though it was packed, there was no delay and the owners stopped and chatted with us making the experience all the better. Only a small distance out of town but simply worth it! Thank you Sarah Barry for the recommendation!!
