15/08/2026: A restaurant we loved from the start for its focus on local produce and traditional dishes. Since the change of ownership, the menu has shifted towards burgers.
We were very disappointed with our last visit this summer when we were served dishes with cold sides without being informed. Apparently, this was a new concept from the chef. However, my partner's meat and my fish were also cold. What was the concept? Perhaps they forgot to serve us.
Finally, we were very disappointed, especially considering the prices. I would recommend Mesa restaurant in Vouneuil-sous-Biard instead. The price is very reasonable for what you get.

10/08/2026: We chose this restaurant because it was open on Mondays and was opposite the abbey. Big mistake! We arrived at 12:15 pm and the owner was already overwhelmed. We had to wait 25 minutes before getting the menu and being able to order. We then had to wait another 30 minutes for our starter, which was quite simple: just melon and ham. And we had to wait another 20 minutes for our main course of cold cuts and beef carpaccio. The fries were undercooked. It may be cheap, but it's not good and the service is far too slow.
04/08/2026: We had a delicious lunch here today! Even though we didn't have a reservation and it was quite busy, we were fortunately still able to get a table. We were warmly welcomed and the owner was incredibly friendly.
We had a pleasant chat with him, which made the experience even better.
We enjoyed a delicious three-course menu for a very reasonable price. It's nice that there are also delicious vegetarian options. The rosé completed the lunch perfectly.
A restaurant with excellent value for money, a warm atmosphere, and hospitable service. Definitely recommended if you are in the area!

Déçu de la viande servi bonne cuisson mais nerveuse il faut mâcher longuement tarif comme ailleurs nous n’y retournerons plus dommage
23/07/2024: 8 of us arrived including 3 young children. Greeted quickly and a table was made up immediately that would accommodate us all. Orders taken quickly, they even helped us with our poor French! Everything arrived quickly and was really great. Very efficient, helpful and nice food, thank you.
