- not forgetting the restaurant and its wood-fired meats…😋 In short, I love this hotel and restaurant!
21/11/2025: As occasional guests of Vallon de Gayet for over thirty years, I unfortunately hadn't been back for far too long due to lack of time. This oversight was rectified last weekend, and what a joy it was to rediscover this fantastic place, where a flood of memories came rushing back.
Delphine and William run it masterfully, having expanded and modernized this wonderful establishment while miraculously preserving its essence and spirit.
The cuisine is always delicious and wonderfully authentic, the breakfasts are of unparalleled simplicity and quality, and what can I say about the welcome and service, except that you feel like you're visiting dear family members.
A huge thank you to this entire caring team, and especially to Delphine and William, for allowing me to experience a truly wonderful birthday, filled with memories of all our beloved departed.
See you very soon!

18/09/2025: I made a reservation for tonight, September 18, at 4 p.m., and they told me that if they don't call me back, it means the reservation is confirmed.
We arrive at the scheduled time and see the restaurant's facade saying "on vacation."
I call that a joke!
I strongly advise against this so-called restaurant; it doesn't deserve to be on the list of restaurants.
Avoid at all costs.

16/08/2025: There were six of us, including a 93-year-old senior. We ordered three pizzas and, an hour and a half later, we still hadn't been served. Customers who arrived much later still received their food.
When we asked the server with a smile if there were any left, the response was, "If you're not happy, we can refund you, or you can eat at Baumanière." Very businesslike...
A deplorable experience: endless waits, no consideration for customers, and disrespectful service. We've been coming here with our grandparents for 20 years; we won't be back and absolutely do not recommend this place.

29/12/2025: A friendly and welcoming Chinese restaurant in Mouriès.
The food is simple and classic, but well-prepared and generously portioned. It's easy to eat there, and there are no unpleasant surprises.
The service is pleasant and the atmosphere relaxed, making it a good option for a quiet meal when you're in the mood for traditional Chinese cuisine.
A decent and enjoyable place that we can recommend without hesitation.
07/12/2025: A very good little restaurant. My partner and I order from them a few times, and the food is good and very reasonably priced. Bonus points for the friendliness of the owners.
