02/05/2026: Disappointing SCAM
On May 2nd, I ordered the daily special and ended up paying for the entire set menu! What?! I didn't order wine or dessert, and they told me, and I quote, "I should have just ordered the wine and dessert." That's a scam! Following that, I paid nineteen euros for a Caesar salad that consisted of three lettuce leaves, two tomatoes, and some nuggets. Four, no more! If you order a Coke, be aware that you have to ask for ice and lemon, which bothers the waiter. You need a lot of patience.
Very expensive for what it is! A total lack of respect. And the menu isn't even up to date!

02/03/2026: We haven't had the chance to try the hotel yet, but we've already been to the restaurant at Vallon de Gayet several times as a family and with my brothers.
The restaurant is excellent! The quality of the meat is truly outstanding, especially the ribeye steak, which is exceptional.
The only slight downside—and perhaps I'm being a bit picky 😅—is that once, I was served the ribeye steak without the marrow bone, whereas on my previous visits it was automatically included. Apparently, you had to ask for it. That said, it was surely just an oversight, because as soon as I mentioned it, it was brought to me immediately.
In short: excellent restaurant, very pleasant setting, I highly recommend it!

- not forgetting the restaurant and its wood-fired meats…😋 In short, I love this hotel and restaurant!
