28/07/2026: The staff are always welcoming, smiling, and professional. It's a real pleasure to be served by such a pleasant team! Thank you! However, it's hard not to be shocked by their working conditions. The heat inside the bakery is stifling, and it's unacceptable that employees have to work in such conditions, especially during periods of high temperatures. I sincerely hope that management and those in charge of the chain will take responsibility and quickly implement appropriate solutions. The employees deserve to be able to work in decent conditions!

26/06/2026: As always, it's a real pleasure to come. We're greeted with a smile and a lovely scent in the shop. We feel listened to, understood, and well advised. I highly recommend this store, especially since the products are of very high quality.

03/07/2026: Getting out of my car, which was 41°C (106°F), I ordered a coffee and a large glass of water. The waitress brought me a coffee and a tiny glass of water. I was surprised and politely said, "Oh dear, I asked for a large glass of water." The young waitress, clearly following the manager's instructions (for whom a smile is optional), told me, "We have bottled water." I know that legally, an establishment isn't obligated to serve free water, provided the information is clearly displayed, which wasn't the case at the Bistro de la Gare. I sent back the coffee I'd paid for, which would have tasted like a pigeon's. I should mention that I'm a senior citizen and that a health prevention advisor from the CPAM (French National Health Insurance Fund) is trying to contact me by phone to remind me that I need to stay hydrated.

24/05/2026: We had to order our two beers at the bar—two pints, to be precise—and were served two 33cl bottles of Pélican beer for €19! It's no wonder the terraces are empty at €9.50 for a 33cl bottle, even the specials.

20/05/2026: We came for drinks with our colleagues. We paid €77.50 for two rounds, which we settled with the first waiter. When it came to the third round, we ordered two beers and a spritz, which cost us €22.50. The waiter clearly stated that we could only pay in cash (credit cards were not accepted). So my colleague went to withdraw some money, and while he was doing that, I decided to pay. We came back a few days later, and we were accused of not having paid for the last round. (We're so stupid that we don't pay and don't even come back a week later!) Anyway, we couldn't agree on anything, and the manager told us he wasn't worried about the extra €22.50, but he asked us to pay again! 😂 So: 1) Remember to bring cash. 2) Don't forget to remove the double! 😂😂 Run away!
