23/02/2026: Lunch menu. Very warm welcome. The starters and desserts were superb, no complaints. However, the lamb shoulder cooked navarin-style was a bit small compared to the side dish, even if it was basmati rice. It's not the most expensive cut of lamb. To accompany this dish, I ordered the oldest vintage of red wine in Bordeaux, the Dame de Mont Rose 2011, which is the second wine of this grand cru. The bottle was presented to me, very nice. Fifteen minutes later, they wanted me to taste the wine while I was enjoying champagne and foie gras. Needs improvement. Furthermore, the wine was served straight from the bottle into glasses without decanting to remove the natural sediment. It should have been decanted, as with all older vintages. Even though La Rotonde is the Negresco's second restaurant, it doesn't live up to its reputation.
23/02/2026: The dining room is modern yet stunning, the staff attentive and friendly, the cuisine delicious and refined, and the service impeccable. And to top it all off, the prices are reasonable!
You don't always find such excellent service in more expensive establishments.
We'll definitely be back! Especially since the place is magical. Be sure to take a few minutes to admire the artwork in the hotel lobby before you leave!

22/02/2026: We waited for 20 minutes for the order to be taken. When I said that it’s already 20 mins the lady shouted at me (and we were seated at the table that was still dirty from previous clients…) and when she was gesticulating with her hands all the bread crumbles were falling almost in my face, never felt so ashamed in a restaurant…
22/02/2026: Fresh oysters, but shockingly rude service perhaps in the entire France.
One particular server (pictured) was extremely rude & arrogant — plates and cutlery were practically thrown onto the table, and when we politely asked for the bill, we were told in a dismissive expression to wait & not expect immediate service. (We DID NOT ask to be served immediately) The restaurant was only 1/4 full & i don’t think it is customers’ fault that they hate their job.
To be fair though, the young lady serving the oysters were kind and professional, but the overall attitude from the rest of the staff was real rude and unwelcoming. A real shame, as Nice is such a beautiful city but this restaurant does not reflect its hospitality at all.

02/06/2024: endroit super, la musique est génial également, mais alors la raison pour laquelle je ne retournerai jamais dans cet endroit, c’est le videur.
En sortant, voulant fumer, une cigarette, il nous a mis un coup de pression, donc je suis allé simplement lui poser la question du pourquoi du comment, et il m’a directement agressé verbalement.
Je trouve ça inadmissible de m’être un videur comme celui-ci, pour que vous puissiez le reconnaître, c’était le samedi 2 juin vers 1h du matin. Cette personne est censée assurer la sécurité de tout le monde et là c’est directement lui qui provoque les embrouilles. Je suis vraiment déçue car j’adore ce bar mais pour que j’y revienne il faut absolument changer de videur. En plus en regardant les avis je vois que je ne suis pas la seule à me plaindre, il faut donc prendre une décision immédiate.
