20/02/2026: Following a recommendation from a fellow walker, we went into this small, simple but welcoming restaurant. We received a very warm welcome; it was quite busy, but we waited patiently. The meal was excellent; we were pleasantly surprised by the food, everything was delicious. I chose a glass of white wine from the Charentes region, which was excellent—a little dry yet also slightly fruity. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are ever in Rochefort. 31/03/2026: I ordered a royal chowder that was supposed to have two langoustines... replaced by shrimp!!! The worst part is they insisted the shrimp were langoustines!!! They even showed me a shrimp shell to compare it to a langoustine shell. That's dishonest and they treat people like idiots!! In the end, I ate it cold and at different times than my friend. The cook knew what he was doing when he served the dish, and his sauce was really awful, tasteless... I wouldn't recommend it, and I should definitely report it. In response to your inaccuracies, not to mention lies: 1- Start by correcting your spelling mistakes. 2- I don't think everyone found it funny to see that this dish had been ripped off! 3- It was definitely shrimp, not langoustines, and YOU STILL DON'T! If the staff can't tell the difference between these two crustaceans...!!!!!!!?????? 4- YES, my food was cold after repeatedly pointing out your dishonesty! 5- NO, I didn't demand that the dish be remade; it was the waiter. I JUST WANTED THE TWO MISSING LANGOUSTINES TO BE ADDED. 6- The wine was offered after much discussion!! It wasn't spontaneous at all! 7- I'M NOT EXAGGERATING; I'M REPORTING THE ACCURATE FACTS. In conclusion, you are acting in BAD FAITH and are unprofessional; what you're saying is FALSE. If he offered the wine, it's because he knew there was a problem. If I were you, I would be ashamed of deceiving people and charging so much, €32, for something that isn't worth it!

17/03/2026: Passing through Rochefort for the weekend, we chose this restaurant. We had made a reservation, which was a good thing we did because it was a Saturday night and it was starting to fill up. Apart from a minor hiccup with my order being taken, everything went smoothly. The service was quick, the portions generous, and the staff friendly.
