18/09/2026: Chicken in tarragon sauce with a few fries. I'm not giving it 5 stars because of the small portion of fries on the plate. However, we were given more fries free of charge after asking for them!

we came for dinner.
The place is understated and elegant, the welcome warm.
Lovely cuisine with perfectly balanced flavors, and for dessert, a surprising eggplant and lemon dish.
We recommend it.

23/09/2026: During our two-week stay in Bordeaux, we discovered Bistrot des Anges. As a result, we went back every day for the entire two weeks, a total of eight times!
The welcome is incredibly friendly, a smile is guaranteed, and the service is efficient yet allows you plenty of time to savor the simply divine cuisine at an affordable price (€24 for a main course, starter, and dessert). Each dish is presented with vibrant colors, a true work of art, and the flavors are a delight for the taste buds. The three starters, three of the five main courses, and the three desserts change daily.
Everything was excellent. A huge thank you to their chef(s) for these moments of culinary bliss.
Don't hesitate to make a reservation; the restaurant was packed every day.
05/09/2026: Excellent meal today with the Saturday lunch menu: succulent tournedos and a divine dessert.
A well-known and highly recommended spot.

31/08/2024: Très bonne surprise pour moi. Je ne m'attendais pas à une telle qualité des plats. J'ai particulièrement aimé la raviole aux champignons, le thon était très bon aussi. Des goûts super, fins, équilibrés. Des assiettes bien servies. Un service agréable, peut-être un tout petit peu trop lent à mon goût entre les différents plats. Un bel endroit aussi. J'y retourne dès que je peux !
24/08/2024: De l'accueil à la sortie en passant par le cadre magnifique, tout à été parfait dans cette soirée au 4ème mur. L'equipe est top et à l'écoute du client, les plats sont succulents, ni trop copieux ni trop peu, juste ce qu'il faut. Tout est fait pour passer un très bon moment. Même l'addition que l'on pourrait penser élever dans ce genre d'établissement surtout portant le nom d'un grand chef est dans la norme.
Une très grande découverte et une soirée à renouveler et à recommander.

11/05/2024: Lorsque l' on va dans une auberge on s'attend à manger de la cuisine traditionnelle locale et pas des samousas, du chinois, des pizzas... Sinon c'est simplement un snack , dommage car le lieu est agréable mais la cuisine ne reflète absolument pas le lieu.Surtout que lorsque l.on regarde les commentaires sur les sites ce n est absolument pas ce qui est exprimé en terme de nourriture .A mon avis le passé de cette auberge ne reflète pas la situation actuelle .Ce n est pas le lieu pour manger ce type d aliment
