It's the perfect place to spend quality time with people whose conversation you enjoy. The dishes are flavorful, original, and light. I can never resist the green lentil dessert.

09/12/2025: A very disappointing experience. We chose the main course and dessert option. After a very long wait, the dishes arrived with barely two potatoes and three bites. The desserts were okay. There was no milk or petit fours to accompany the coffee. We expressed our disappointment to the waitress, especially considering the price of the €22.90 set menu. Her indifference was on par with the rest of the service. We are regular restaurant-goers and have never left so hungry. What a rip-off!

09/04/2026: What can I say… I spent many Thursday evenings sitting on the terrace of L’Auguste over the past three years with my friends. The drinks menu was fantastic (including great homemade cocktails, sometimes even original creations), the servers (when there were still some) were excellent, and the atmosphere was great too. We understand that it's difficult for all bars and restaurants these days, but frankly, the drinks menu has become incredibly disappointing, the service is painfully slow, which is understandable given the staff shortage, but frankly, it's unpleasant. Furthermore, they now have live music on Thursday nights. Horrible. Mediocre music and incredibly loud; both inside and outside, it's impossible to have a conversation. Currently, it's a constant cacophony of haphazard transitions that are ear-splitting. You have to do what you have to do to attract customers, but frankly… It's very disappointing. The place has lost all its charm, and I think that was the last time I'll ever set foot in it. However, a positive point is that the staff are always friendly. That's about the only good thing about the place right now. Thanks for the great evenings, Auguste, but that's clearly a thing of the past…

19/04/2026: We booked pitch 432 for our caravan for two nights, accompanied by our two Beauceron dogs. Superb spot, courteous and efficient staff, spotless communal areas. Various facilities and food options: very good. We'll be back!

17/04/2026: 4-star campsite, but where are the 4 stars...? - Cold showers every day during our 3-day stay. And at any time of day or night. Frankly, considering the price per night, a hot shower would be the bare minimum. - We heard there have been thefts at the campsite. Not exactly the most peaceful stay knowing that... - Limited sanitary facilities at the campsite, and they're not even spotless... at that price per night, it would be nice to not have filthy toilets! - In short, honestly, 1 star for the location, which is exceptional, but really, if you want to line the pockets of unpleasant people who have no sense of hospitality, go for it.
