07/04/2024: A floral symphony in a rural setting. Randomly doing a Google search for my partner's birthday, we set our sights on this restaurant. As gourmet gourmets, we arrived with our son and received a welcome worthy of a Parisian palace from a talkative but very warm hostess. The chef with a long and prestigious career (chef at the Élysée and Swiss palaces) welcomes you to his family inn where traditions mingle between local produce and gastronomy. The time spent with family during the renovation of this inn shines through every place where we look and feel a love of beautiful and good things. A well-maintained, wooded park where you want to relax after lunch invites you to stroll on sunny spring days. The menu presented in three ways with respect for seasonality at a price that leaves you speechless is already making your taste buds quiver with envy. The chef is keen to never forget his Reunion roots and haute cuisine. The dishes swirl and the flavors follow one another without clashing and accompany us towards unsuspected flavors and tastes. A sea hit for the fish (the beaches) coalfish just perfect. A blow to the earth (and its welcoming inhabitants) for the sweet turkey. Then it's the flight to a pineapple dessert so sweet that we understand that each note of the meeting is found in this python of the furnace which warms the heart and projects emotions. A boss move? No, a masterstroke! A false note in this symphony: the absence of an appetizer presented with the aperitif, which we will only adhere to given the quantity and quality of work deployed.
18/02/2024: Restaurant that you need to know to go there. You don't come across it by chance. Good dishes for a very simple Valentine's Day.
