28/12/2025: Absolutely nothing to complain about, it was absolutely delicious!! A little more expensive than what we might pay for something similar elsewhere, but the products are truly high quality and the service is very friendly!

25/11/2025: Anyone looking for fresh seafood straight from the producer should definitely stop by. Delicious shrimp and oysters at absolutely fair prices. No frills here, just the charm of a local farmer. The restaurant is also located directly on the excellent cycle path, for example, on the route from La Flotte to Ars de Ré.

27/01/2026: A little ray of sunshine in this winter season. While all the shops are closed during the off-season, Zaza remains open, much to our delight.
Everything is wonderful, with a touch of childhood nostalgia, and Zaza is incredibly attentive, much to our enjoyment. Pure joy in these gloomy times, in a cozy and tastefully decorated space. Fantastic!
18/01/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The welcome was appalling; the manager was anything but friendly and unprofessional! We wanted to come for lunch today as a group of four. The restaurant only had seating for three, but the manager told us she couldn't seat us. We asked to move two tables of two together or perhaps swap places with two people who were at a table of four, but the manager said it was impossible. It's January in La Couarde, where everything is closed and there's hardly anyone around, but this businesswoman prefers to turn people away. In hindsight, I understand all the negative comments about her welcome and friendliness...

30/08/2024: THE PLACE IS VERY NICE BUT… the DJ should follow the requests of the public. The music does not contain words so no one was able to get into the mood and therefore have fun. It seems he is there every evening. Otherwise nice for a drink.
27/08/2024: I picked up my 16 year old son last night who was in the establishment without my knowing!!! A night establishment is not supposed to let minors in and even less serve them alcohol... he was not asked for his identity document or that of his 7 friends on the pretext that they were with a 25 year old person.
Given the many negative comments I am not surprised but I find it difficult to understand why there is no control by the police.

02/07/2024: It's a place where we enjoy stopping for a drink and from time to time to eat. We frequent it quite regularly when we walk to the nature center. And a little extra is that it is open all year round unlike many others in the center. The owners and servers are top notch. Thank you for making us spend good times with friends.
