The decor was amazing, the servers were wonderful, the waitress was lovely, the owner was very kind, and thank you to the kitchen staff – everything was delicious! Don't change a thing, keep your staff because it's so nice to feel as good as we did on Wednesday. Best of luck to the whole team! 😉

30/08/2026: The previous reviews were absolutely true. This restaurant is truly lovely. I've rarely received such a warm welcome from the entire team. The service was very quick, and they gave us great advice on choosing our dishes and drinks. And above all, the food was delicious. There were six of us, including a baby, and we had a wonderful time.

Attentive service.

15/08/2026: We had a very good time. The gentleman who welcomed us found a solution for us to get a table on the terrace even though we hadn't booked, and we don't regret it at all – the food was top-notch with good quality ingredients.
15/08/2026: The servers are incredibly kind. They are attentive, funny, and take the time to make sure everything is alright, yet they are also incredibly fast and efficient. This restaurant ended our stay in Charente on a very high note. I highly recommend it!

22/06/2026: Small, simple restaurant, everything very fresh and delicious, directly from the producer, also selling fresh produce, fair prices, we were greeted warmly, debit card accepted. We will definitely come back.
Update: Unfortunately, it seems to be permanently closed, what a shame. We were there in June (the roof had partially collapsed) ☹️

Seafood platter for the aperitif was fine.
We chose mussels with blue cheese for our main course, but there was very little sauce...
Still very good overall.

23/07/2026: An unfriendly waitress who "didn't see you" and was inefficient (constantly going back and forth) justified her absence by saying "it was very busy," but the terrace wasn't full at all. There was a long wait. Some customers waiting to be seated ended up leaving because they weren't being served. The coffee with cream... very little milk, very little water.

23/08/2026: This establishment has refused credit card payments for several years. Is it normal that this is still the case in 2026?! For this reason alone, we refuse to do business with this establishment.
08/08/2026: I don't think the ice cream is homemade because it all tastes the same. However, it's not too bad. Be warned, €1.50 for the cheapest whipped cream in a can is outrageous!

30/08/2024: Deuxième experience. Restaurant très sympa sur Ronce les Bains dans un très beau cadre. Les produits sont frais, le service est agréable, mention spéciale pour l'Eclade de moules et la côte de boeuf, toutes deux très bien préparés. Les desserts sont également de bonne factures.

Très bon rapport qualité-prix et desserts excellent je retourne très bientôt avec le soleil c'est mieux et coucher de soleil formidable
01/09/2024: Très bel endroit, le repas peut être pris au dessus des Marais....je dis bien peut...au bon vouloir du patron, c'est le gros point négatif, quand ça l'embête il le fait savoir, et vous largue dans la salle de restaurant, d'accord ou pas vous n'avez pas le choix.
Nous avons donc écourté notre repas, dommage la fraîcheur des huîtres et bulots extra .
