16/02/2026: If you're looking for a restaurant that's both friendly and refined, Le Moussaillon is perfect for you.
We booked a table for a belated Valentine's Day dinner, and the setting is magnificent: blues and jazz music playing softly in the background, dim lighting… it was perfect.
The food is delicious and homemade: we opted for the foie gras, squid, and floating island dessert.
The foie gras was excellent, the best I've ever had.
The dessert was incredible: a cloud on top of homemade crème anglaise.
The prices are very reasonable, and the service is impeccable.
We had a wonderful evening; thank you for the warm welcome.
Next time, we'll come for lunch to enjoy the view.

09/02/2026: Arriving on February 9th in a downpour and being greeted with a smile... Thank you. An excellent meal, a semi-cooked foie gras worthy of a gourmet restaurant, a sublime fish sauerkraut. A generous dessert; all for a very reasonable price. A place you can dine at without hesitation.

25/02/2026: A great place to spend quality time with the family. Highly recommended for activities with children.
22/02/2026: Bowling was great, trampolining too. The man let us in, no instructions, no questions from him. I asked where to get in and he replied, "Well, downstairs you have to go down..." as if it were obvious to everyone. Then his replacement came and told me to get in. I was unpleasant, yes, because I was told socks were mandatory. I told him, "No one told me that. I'm paying, no problem," but I didn't like the way it was handled. And I let him know. Then I heard him complaining about me to the other customers... You just got what you deserved.
So, start by cleaning the attractions and giving proper instructions from the beginning. It will avoid the hassles and bad feedback you deserve. We are still customers.

Cocktails even colder than the waitress.
Reception not the best, no hello, outside of the “full” restaurant period we end up settling down. Waitress who comes to take our order (Sorry for asking for a card)
We choose a cocktail, with the waitress implying that “this type of order again”. Several customers leave the restaurant where we were and several who announce out loud “well we won’t be coming back”. It puts us in the mood...
The setting is nice and the cocktails are good. We are local, I understand that it is the end of the season and that it is certainly tiring in terms of fatigue. Damage.

25/08/2023: La Terrasse now only offers takeaway meals: pizzas, brushettas, salads and drinks, and desserts including the mascot (large local donut)

Par contre le cocktail pina colada n'ai pas la meilleure que j'ai déjà bu

Une equipe de jeune au top tres efficace et reactive .
Instrument micro dans le restaurant qui laisse place a de nombreux talent qui animent les soirées les pieds dans le sable avec un bon cocktail .

30/08/2024: Il est très inhabituel de se régaler sans se ruiner tout à fait dans un "restaurant de plage". C'est pourtant le cas ici : foie gras d'exception, bar entier (de ligne ?), gambas caramélisées, île flottante digne de celle de Peter Pan, service gracieux et sans précipitation de mauvais aloi (un exploit, vu la presse !)
Bref, le contraire d'un piège à toutous, ce qui fait plaisir aux Saintongeais que nous sommes, car cela donne une bonne image de notre petite patrie. Nous étions trois, assis entre la caisse et le port, fêtant un anniversaire sous un ciel incertain. Un délice.

12/07/2024: Un lieu très atypique, une cuisine maison de qualité. Nous avons partagé un moment exceptionnel dans ce restaurant. Le patron est un personnage très à l'écoute des clients et n'hésite pas à prendre du temps pour discuter. Je recommande vivement le détour.
