Le Riberou
Saujon
28/08/2026: Arriving late, around 1:30 pm, from La Tremblade on the "Seagull Train," we received a very warm welcome at the Le Ribérou restaurant. A lovely, delicious homemade meal and a very friendly welcome in the heart of a beautiful little village. I highly recommend it.
24/08/2026: We came for dinner and were very well received. The owner is very welcoming and friendly. And the food was very good.

L' auberge du Moulin
Saujon
13/09/2026: I absolutely loved this place nestled in lush greenery! The food was delicious and served in generous portions! The bread was divine! And the welcome was truly warm! A very friendly atmosphere! I recommend it 100%! Thank you for your patience with my dog Noah, the king of mischief! A priceless breath of fresh air! A much-needed respite from the mad rush of time!
10/09/2026: Delicious food and great service. Very cozy atmosphere. They were very accommodating to my gluten intolerance. There are many gluten-free dishes.
Highly recommended!

La Saujonnaise
Saujon
26/09/2026: Passing through Saujon, we discovered this restaurant run by a fellow countryman (we're from the Creuse region). The welcome was incredibly warm, and the food was excellent, hearty, and, what's more, very affordable! It's a shame I live so far away, otherwise I'd eat there every day! And for those who are interested, they sometimes serve calf's head! Yum!
13/09/2026: Had lunch by the water, just like last year. The owner is a first-class chatterbox, as well as a great customer builder and salesperson. Lovely people. The pizza is top-notch! Generously topped with fresh ingredients. Baked in a wood-fired oven.

Le Chalet des Saveurs
Saujon
24/09/2026: The kebab, tacos, and burger were great, but I was a bit disappointed with the pizza; the crust was overcooked, almost burnt.
18/08/2026: A fantastic find!
We ate at this restaurant which offers kebabs, pizzas, tacos, and more.
It was truly excellent. The kebab meat was superb, bursting with flavor—nothing like the spit-roasted kebabs you find everywhere. The pizzas were generous. The welcome and service were very pleasant.
The prices are reasonable. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to offer a different sauce for the burgers.

We highly recommend it and it definitely deserves 5/5. It's a shame we were only passing through Saujon. A fantastic discovery on a Saturday night. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!!

22/05/2026: The hotel is well located, and the restaurant, open only in the evening, is very good.
However, avoid the heat, as there's no air conditioning at night!
