02/04/2024: At l'Alambic, it's a warm and friendly place. I advise you to go for a walk there, to eat at midday or to have a drink or something else, because the owner cooks very well and it's a delight.

22/03/2024: A very great restaurant in a very friendly town. The food is very, very good, at reasonable prices and with impeccable service!
I highly recommend it to anyone passing through Jarnac for lunch! (I didn't go there in the evening but I imagine you'll find the same quality there).
There are also very good vegetarian dish options!

The not-so-great baguette still works.
On the other hand, an éclair is made with choux pastry and custard, not flavored wet stale bread.
4 lightning bolts, all the same.
And criticizing your employees for stopping in front of customers is very average.
