10/04/2026: Passing through the area, we stopped for lunch as a family at this establishment. The welcome was excellent, and the all-you-can-eat buffet allowed everyone to eat their fill. The food was very good.
In short, excellent value for money.
We will definitely return.

20/09/2026: Pleasant and professional welcome and service. Warm atmosphere. The homemade touch is evident in every dish, which was all delicious. I can't wait to return and enjoy these excellent dishes again. I highly recommend it.
24/08/2026: Very warm welcome, quick service on this market day, but we had to cut our coffee short, unfortunately disturbed by cigarette smoke from someone at the next table... a shame

12/09/2026: It was a very pleasant surprise to eat at this restaurant while passing through town and to have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious and generous vegetarian burger.
Indeed, thanks to the kindness of the waiter, he spontaneously offered me a vegetarian steak to accommodate my vegan diet.
19/08/2026: They refused to serve us a drink under the pretext that "lots of people were arriving," even though it was Tuesday evening in August at 7 pm, we were seated at a table without cutlery, and the establishment was literally empty (inside and out). Surprising for a "pub."

19/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome, and the children were treated to some lovely little gifts.
The room was clean and functional.
The restaurant is a great bonus when you're just stopping over on your holiday route. Breakfast is available for an extra charge but is plentiful.
08/04/2026: Excellent experience. The rooms were simple but perfectly clean and functional. The hotel is quiet and the reception staff were very friendly and professional. They were very accommodating upon my arrival. I highly recommend it!

06/09/2026: We enjoyed our meal, but the service needs improvement; three different servers were completely lost.
Our food arrived an hour after we got it, whereas just a few months ago the service was much faster.
21/08/2026: It was good, but out of 6 dishes, 2 pizzas were good but small, 2 pasta dishes (one with a spicy aftertaste!), and 2 escalopes were good but very small... Overall, it was good and welcoming, but the portions were very small.
It's a shame, we used to come 2 or 3 times a year. We'll come back to see if the portions have changed, but if they haven't, we'll go somewhere else. It's a real shame compared to the previous owners.

15/08/2024: Nous avons été super bien accueilli dans ce restaurant. Nous sommes venu en famille pour un anniversaire. J'ai mangé un feuilleté de la mer avec un guacamole , une pièce du boucher très tendre et en dessert un nougat glacé maison. Personnel à vos petit soins. Nous reviendrons

19/08/2026: Passing through the Allier region in St. Amand, I stopped for a morning coffee at "Le Moulin à Café" (The Coffee Mill). Excellent coffee on a charming little shaded terrace, served in stoneware cups made nearby. Isabelle roasts the coffee the old-fashioned way in a cast-iron roaster, which you can see in action in the shop. They also sell tea (even smoked tea!) and other products that I'll let you discover for yourselves! All the best, and thank you for this lovely moment before our long drive to Normandy!

Very pleasant.
The coffee is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced.
For gifts, I recommend it because there's a lot of choice and it's not too expensive.

02/09/2023: Nous sommes venus il y a 2 ans, soirée historique avec une victoire 8-0 de la France contre le Kazakhstan. Malgré la douceur des shots au pop corn et Bailey's, nous avons tenu la soirée jusqu'au bout, au détriment de mon compte en banque et de la réputation familiale. La Marmande a apprécié notre apport azoté

La planche de charcuterie et fromages est à éviter…la qualité n’est pas au rdv.
