19/09/2026: I always walk past this restaurant, but I'd never dared to go in. Yesterday, I finally took the plunge, and honestly, I don't regret it at all! The welcome was very warm and friendly, I had a shrimp noodle soup, and it was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be back; I highly recommend it! 😋🍜
17/09/2026: Authentic and excellent Chinese cuisine; the quality of the dishes is impeccable, as is the service and the friendliness of the owners. Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Caen!

17/08/2026: A fantastic restaurant! I go there quite regularly and I'm never disappointed. The food is delicious and reasonably priced.
I first went in November 2023 and I keep going back because it's so good!
The service is very welcoming.
I highly recommend it!

14/10/2026: A very bad experience at La Boîte à Pizza.
They had a "buy one, get one free" offer for the purchase of a medium or large pizza, with a free pizza of the same size. I also won a prize in a small contest that clearly stated: "One free small Regina pizza with a minimum purchase of €12."
So I went there, bought two pizzas, and thanks to the current offer, I left with four pizzas. Since my purchase was well over €12, I asked to claim the small pizza I had won. I was told I had to buy another pizza to get it. Except that with the "buy one, get one free" offer, it's simply a matter of taking advantage of their usual promotion. What's the point of giving away pizzas in a contest if, in the end, you still have to buy something to claim your prize?
But the worst part was the behavior of the person who seemed to be in charge. Instead of calmly explaining the terms of the offer, he spoke down to me, as if I were completely stupid, telling me it was "very simple to understand" and, I quote, "even a kid could understand that."
It's perfectly understandable that there are conditions attached to an offer, and that it's possible I misunderstood, but such contempt and disrespect towards customers are unacceptable. I left feeling like I'd been promised a gift that wasn't really a gift at all, and above all, with a very negative impression of this establishment.
I do not recommend this store, not only because of the lack of transparency in this sales promotion, but especially because of the way they treat customers when they ask questions.
04/10/2026: Unpleasant phone call from a man who spoke rudely to women this Sunday at 7:30 pm. The pizza wasn't very well made; I don't recommend it.

14/10/2026: We visited on October 14, 2026.
We arrived around 7:25/7:30 PM. The atmosphere had calmed down. The lady was very kind and welcoming, and everything we ate was delicious. The only slight issue was that the shrimp fritters were a little too oily for my taste.
In terms of value for money, we paid €48.50 for two people, including caramel pork, Cantonese rice (twice), beef and onion spring rolls, and shrimp fritters, along with two drinks. Give this lady a chance; she deserves it! ❤️

This morning I witnessed an altercation between a customer and the saleswoman.
The man was unhappy because the bakery wasn't open at 6:30 a.m., even though it opens at 6:30 a.m. He spoke very rudely to the saleswoman simply because they didn't open on time. I find this unacceptable and a complete lack of respect.
They are always open on time, and it's the only bakery open at that hour.
My best wishes to the saleswoman; she does her job very well and always with a smile.

There isn't a huge selection, but the food is all the better for it, and they refill them more quickly. The service is impeccable, very welcoming and friendly. Thank you! ^^

26/09/2026: Pleasantly surprised by both the price and the quality. The food is really good. We tried the stir-fried noodles, shrimp with vegetables, caramel pork, beef with onions, spring rolls, chicken skewers, and coconut pearls—everything was fresh and delicious.
I highly recommend it; you can go without hesitation.

28/07/2026: The secret to all-you-can-eat restaurants is to arrive at the beginning of service. Those complainers who whine about the lack of choice, etc... keep that in mind, let's be clear... by the way, we've been coming to this restaurant for a while now and I've noticed they've made a lot of effort, both in terms of quality and selection. I personally find it better today than it was two years ago.

After reading the recent reviews, I was a little worried... However, the food is excellent, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant. A successful and delicious birthday celebration!
Thank you for the generous portions and the particularly exquisite spring rolls. I highly recommend this restaurant, and frankly, I don't understand the recent negative comments at all.
Go for it! The food is worth the trip.
03/09/2026: This is one of the worst Vietnamese restaurants I've ever eaten. The waitresses are very unfriendly, and the prices are far too high for the mediocre and tasteless quality. I strongly advise against the chicken satay and the sweet and sour pork!

03/10/2026: I was very disappointed by this restaurant: limited selection, bland food, and truly inedible oysters. As for the Madison cocktail, it was 90% ice cubes for an exorbitant price—an experience I definitely won't repeat.
02/10/2026: Surprise! A Chinese buffet in Caen that serves oysters! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Locals go there, what more can I say?

Dirty dishes and bowls at the buffet, the plates are not removed and remain on the table throughout the meal, very low-end sushi!!!

27/06/2024: Decevant. Les plats du buffet sont à peine tièdes, les nouilles insipides, la viande dure à mâcher... ! La vaisselle est ébréchée. A éviter !
14/06/2024: Salle peu accueillante, présentation des plats rudimentaire, accueil peu chaleureux, choix de nourriture assez restreint pour ce type de restaurants.
Pour ce qui est de la nourriture, elle est d'une redoutable banalité. Les sushis sont médiocres, la dose de poisson est minuscule, le riz sans intérêt, la plupart "agrémentés" de fromage, histoire de donner du goût. Les rouleaux de printemps contiennent uniquement une demi-crevette, les gyozas sont mal décongelés, le plateau de desserts pas du tout appétissant. Pour 20€, on peut espérer mieux...
