25/05/2026: After reading the other reviews, I was expecting much better. The four of us were rather disappointed by the food. The scallops were very salty, the frogs' legs were fried with salt and pepper but lacked salt and pepper, and the calamari fritters were bland. It's a shame, the menu was interesting! But perhaps it would be better to focus on a few dishes they've truly mastered?

21/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! We loved it—the food, the service, with a very efficient, professional, and also very pleasant waiter. The partial view of the lake was lovely. The price was very reasonable. I highly recommend it and we will definitely be back.

16/05/2026: We were served by Lola this evening (May 16, 2026). She had to manage the entire evening service on her own, but she was wonderful: smiling, helpful, and attentive. Despite the long wait, the food was very good! We'll be back!

Excellent experience at La Guélage!
The pizzas are absolutely delicious, generous, and made with quality ingredients. The welcome is warm, the atmosphere very pleasant, and the service impeccable.

I highly recommend it and will gladly return!

29/03/2026: After a long night of babysitting, I stopped by early in the morning on March 28th and 29th, 2026, and it was definitely worth it! The chocolate marble cake is a real treat, and the saleswoman is very friendly, welcoming, and professional. Quality products and a great welcome—I highly recommend it!

03/06/2026: The so-called beef noodles were completely different from the picture; there was only one slice of beef cut into four strips. I forgot to take a picture for reference.
The most ridiculous beef noodle place I've ever had in Europe.
02/06/2026: Food was mediocre and overpriced. We shared a few dishes and they were unexceptional.
Food comes as bare minimum: duck is just the duck (with a too sweet sticky sauce).
Not the worst place you can find, but not recommended.

For that price (€17-€24), go to Pacific Gaillard or Saint Julien. (Otherwise, Vénissieux-Lyon if you're willing to make the trip, but it's worth it.) It's an all-you-can-eat buffet, but you only get one regular naan. The people sitting next to us were given a cheese naan without even asking... It's served at random.
And it's not even good. I won't be back, and this review is for those who, like me, were thinking, "Let's give it a try." Absolutely not!
