27/08/2026: Terribly rude. Left feeling like trying to stop for a drink was illegal. Cant speak to the food, cause the mere act of not ordering as soon as we sat down nearly landed me with spit in the face so didn’t get that far. Has left a foul taste in my mouth in relation to Annecy itself, hoping to turn it around because it’s such a beautiful town. Do not recommend La Galějade.

27/08/2026: The fried food was excellent and the staff were friendly. They were served quickly, even at 2 pm. Very good, I recommend it.

07/08/2026: I tried this all-you-can-eat buffet with my husband, and we were very disappointed. We had barely sat down at our table and had barely gotten our menus in our hands when the waitress pounced on us. We ordered two Cokes; they were cold, no complaints there, but they were served in plastic bottles... There wasn't enough choice in terms of maki, fried foods, desserts, and hot dishes. The servers were grumpy, not a single smile except for the man who took our payment... The servers kept circling us or staring at us while we ate; it was very oppressive... I love macarons, but the ones served at the buffet were all soggy and therefore sickening...

21/07/2026: The worst all-you-can-eat Chinese food I've ever tried; out of 20 dishes, only 1 was tasty, the rest were inedible.

23/08/2026: I strongly advise against this restaurant. We went there tonight, drawn in by the all-you-can-eat buffet concept, and frankly, it was a huge disappointment. For the price, it's money down the drain. We're talking about an all-you-can-eat buffet for around €20 per person, but the quantity and especially the variety offered were frankly ridiculous. As for the sushi, there were barely any pieces available. How can they offer an all-you-can-eat buffet with so little choice? At times, it almost seemed like there was nothing but rice, Philadelphia cream cheese, and a few toppings, with very little salmon. If you're coming specifically to eat sushi, steer clear. And regarding the salmon nigiri, which were practically the only salmon variety available, they were covered in plastic wrap directly on the tray. Visually, it was absolutely unappetizing. It really gave the impression that the products had been prepared or taken out of the refrigerator earlier in the day and then put back on the menu in the evening, still wrapped in plastic. For raw fish, this presentation gave absolutely no impression of freshness. And unfortunately, the problem doesn't stop with the variety. Several foods appeared frankly questionable in terms of appearance and freshness. Some meats had a color that inspired absolutely no confidence in us. The buffet really didn't give an impression of freshness or care. We also noticed the presence of flies around the food, which is particularly unsettling in a place where food is displayed to the public. Regarding the sushi and raw fish, it's even more concerning. Raw fish, especially salmon, obviously requires rigorous storage and handling. However, based on what we observed there, we had absolutely no confidence in the conditions under which some of the food was presented. I obviously can't determine for myself whether there was a breach of health regulations, but as a customer, I can say one thing: it really didn't look appetizing. The desserts, unfortunately, didn't redeem the rest. Many seemed like mass-produced, frozen products, with no real appeal. Nothing that justified the price of the buffet. The welcome wasn't particularly warm either. We could at least have hoped for pleasant service to compensate for a disappointing culinary experience, but even on that point, we were left wanting more. Honestly, the experience was almost like a gastronomic urban exploration: you go in, look around, wonder what's going to surprise you next, and leave thinking you might have been better off staying home. And yes, I completely understand that tastes are subjective. Some people may have enjoyed their meal, and good for them. But personally, I absolutely don't understand how anyone could find this buffet satisfactory given the price, the lack of choice, the perceived quality of the food, and the overall state of the buffet. The most frustrating thing is that you don't even need extraordinary products to have a good meal. Simple, fresh, and properly prepared items are more than enough. Here, unfortunately, we found neither the quality, nor the freshness, nor the variety we expected. €20 for rice, Philadelphia cream cheese, a few pieces of sushi, salmon nigiri presented in plastic wrap, and food that frankly didn't inspire confidence: no thanks. An experience we will absolutely not repeat. One star, and even then, only because we can't give zero. Avoid it if you're looking for a fresh, varied, and enjoyable buffet.

19/08/2026: Relatively limited selection and rather greasy food. The buffet was poorly presented. Very average quality for an Asian restaurant. The table wine was extremely sour.

26/01/2026: New owner, new kitchen, and most importantly, new prices! For that price (€17-€24), go to Pacific Gaillard or Saint Julien. (Otherwise, Vénissieux-Lyon if you're willing to make the trip, but it's worth it.) It's an all-you-can-eat buffet, but you only get one regular naan. The people sitting next to us were given a cheese naan without even asking... It's served at random. And it's not even good. I won't be back, and this review is for those who, like me, were thinking, "Let's give it a try." Absolutely not!
