11/12/2025: A wonderful discovery! This restaurant is right in the heart of Lille. The welcome was warm and the staff were incredibly attentive. The prices were very reasonable for such delicious and varied dishes.

06/12/2025: Thanks to the super enthusiastic waitress who welcomed us; we had a great time thanks to her! We had a good meal, they had all the basics. This was my second time at this restaurant, and I recommend it.

14/02/2026: Having eaten in many Chinese restaurants, both in France and abroad, I can say that this one is clearly among the best in France. The dishes are excellent and, above all, authentic: they aren't "adapted" to the French palate; the flavors are bold, balanced, and truly present. You can feel the respect for traditional recipes. For example, the pho is served with all the authentic accompaniments (bean sprouts, lemon, chili paste, chilies, etc.), which is quite rare and worth mentioning. The portions are generous; you leave feeling more than satisfied, and the value for money is simply unbeatable considering the quality offered. A restaurant I wholeheartedly recommend to lovers of authentic Asian cuisine!

04/01/2026: Good atmosphere, pleasant waiter, the chef offers a shot of sake at the end of the meal after paying the bill with a small surprise inside the glass.

01/01/2026: Extremely disappointed with the €39 set menu, which was supposedly improved! Very little choice in the marinated meats, tiny pieces, tasteless and dry spring rolls, dessert with an artificial taste, inedible canned peach, tiny pieces of industrial cake, and flavored yogurt. Even the ice cream wasn't good; the mandarin was stale. We're not picky and are used to this kind of restaurant, but this was truly inedible, and given the price, we expected a minimum standard. The only positive point was the warm welcome and professionalism of the waitress, Mélina. It's a shame; if it had been even slightly good, we would have come back.

14/03/2026: Le Jardin du Bonheur restaurant in Lille offers simple and delicious Asian cuisine in a friendly atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the Cantonese rice with crispy chicken, which was perfectly seasoned and served piping hot. The decor, with its red lanterns and plants, creates a pleasant ambiance. A big thank you to Mei, the waitress, for her warm welcome and helpful advice. A great place for an affordable and enjoyable Asian meal in the city center.
