22/08/2024: J'ai eu le plaisir de déjeuner avec un ami dans ce restaurant. Les plats sont savoureux, bien que légèrement tièdes, ce qui laisse à penser qu'ils ont été préparés à l'avance. Cependant, cela n'a en rien entaché notre expérience. Les serveuses, toujours sympathiques et attentionnées, ont su rendre notre repas des plus agréables. De plus, la possibilité de déjeuner en terrasse en ce mois d'août a ajouté une touche estivale très appréciable. Je vous recommande vivement ce restaurant.

01/09/2024: Cela fait 10ans que nous venons dans ce restaurant. Toute le carte est excellente (entrées, plats, desserts, n’ayez pas peur de tester de nouvelles choses vous ne serez JAMAIS déçu). Dans ce restaurant vous trouverez le meilleur porc caramel de Paris. Les serveurs sont à votre écoute et très agréable! 10/10 je recommande vivement!!

26/11/2024: J’avoue, ne pas comprendre les avis positifs que je lis un peu partout. L’accueil est correct. En plus la salle d’une tristesse, son nom, la carte c’est n’importe quoi dans le genre chinois. Et plat ne sont pas frais, son goût, le poulet, visiblement réchauffer plusieurs fois, les crevettes, toute molles sans aucun intérêt, bref, passez votre chemin. Il y a beaucoup mieux ailleurs pour le même prix.

06/09/2024: One word: meh (or "bof" en français). Yes, technically the noodles are pulled by hand, but that doesn't mean much when they are tough and unevenly/unskillfully pulled. I had noodles of every single size (fine/normal/thick) in my soup. You just need noodles in soup? This place will do, I guess. You can probably do better. Maybe it's the dish I ordered (雪菜肉碎面/soupe de nouilles au porc haché et légume chinoise), but the soup was not flavorful. A fried or boiled egg would have helped as an add-on, but was surprisingly not available. Pluses: the chili oil saved the day, and portions are plenty. Maybe the stir fried noodles are better. Service is quick and efficient and seating is plentiful.

31/08/2024: We come from Catalonia, and we have encountered Chinese food that is totally different from what we are used to.

20/08/2024: This Chinese restaurant is worth knowing for a reason: it would be the oldest in the Asian district still in operation in 2024 (without interruption or change of name) and opened in the 1980s (see late 1970s). Old-fashioned aesthetic, with its retro neon sign.

16/05/2024: The service is TOO confusing with multiple errors throughout the meal. When ordering, we take drinks; which will be served in the same glass as the water! Regarding the starter, I ordered a ravioli soup (I understand that the preparation takes longer than for spring rolls) but we were not served at the same time. For the main course, we order the same thing; beef with onions. To our great surprise, the waiter only brought us ONE dish (it was up to us to split the portions needed for each of us). Be careful, the service remains very confusing and imprecise! However, the quality of the product is excellent.

09/08/2024: Lao Chaleune is a little hidden gem. I have always loved Lao food but it is difficult to find outside the big cities. The restaurant is small, clean and understated and the staff are friendly, welcoming and polite. The food is fresh, served hot and delicious. I had the prawn nems which were amazing but the 'plateau lao' was exceptionally tasty and very good value. The mango juice was so refreshing also. I recommend the Lao Chaleune very highly and I cannot wait to return there.

15/12/2024: The buns were cold, as if they had been thawed but not steamed. They were hard to swallow. The most unpalatable buns in my life! I haven't been here for a few years. I stopped by for breakfast on a Sunday. The new decoration made the environment better, but the food was terrible and the service was poor. We told the dim sum counter that we wanted to dine in at Sur Place. Taro means that the core will be cold even after it has been in the oil. You have to look around for the cutlery and then go back and ask her for it before giving it to her. The main one ignores you. When I see French people coming to buy something, she smiles very happily and enthusiastically, which makes me feel that they are being treated differently. Avoid this house if you can

13/12/2024: The entire staff is correct, apart from the young manager who is very poorly polite, apart from the fact that she looks down on customers, but in addition to this disdainful attitude, when an error was pointed out (the bag in plastic was torn) not only did she not recognize this inconvenience, but her simplistic reaction was to “throw” another plastic bag on the counter and the customer was responsible for wrapping the goods. This is a disgusting and disrespectful attitude.
