It was so delicious it brought tears to my eyes, and I scraped every last bit off the plate!! I’m a native of Yeosu and quite picky about food, so I usually leave leftovers if the food isn't good at a restaurant in Korea, but I really enjoyed this meal! My girlfriend and I each ordered a kimchi stew and bulgogi, and both were delicious. The dishes other customers ordered looked appetizing as well~ I highly recommend it!!

01/07/2026: A great find at Tae Dong Gwan! I ordered the chicken ramyeon and really enjoyed the noodles—they were perfectly cooked, with a lovely texture and delicious flavor. The chicken was also excellent: tender, cooked to perfection, and melt-in-your-mouth. To go with it, I had a plum iced tea, which was also very good, refreshing, and fragrant. One small drawback, though: there were far too many ice cubes, which meant there wasn't much of a drink left. Also, the sauce seemed a little powdery and slightly less harmonious than the rest of the dish. This is a minor point, however, as the overall experience was delicious and makes me want to come back and try other dishes on the menu. 02/08/2026: We ordered the 감자탕 (Gamjatang) and it was excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the portion was much bigger than expected. Although it's listed for two people, the three of us shared it comfortably. We also ordered the 돼지불고기 (Dwaeji Bulgogi). It was decent, but compared to the Gamjatang it was more average and didn't stand out as much. The service was good throughout our visit. The staff were attentive, and despite the restaurant being busy, everything ran smoothly. One tip: it's worth making a reservation before you go, as the restaurant fills up quickly, especially during peak hours.
