13/09/2026: I had soft tofu stew and soybean paste stew. The taste was bland and failed to appeal to either foreigners or Koreans. The staff were unfriendly. I don't know if they are from Yanbian or what, but their accent was unfriendly, and they wouldn't refill any side dishes if even a single one remained. This was a restaurant we visited as part of a package tour, and thank you for giving us such a bad memory.

10/09/2026: First of all, this isn't a review event; I'm writing this because I genuinely loved it. I highly recommend it to everyone, including Koreans and foreigners alike! It is truly the best restaurant I’ve found in Paris. It is the best in every aspect—the atmosphere, the friendliness, and most importantly, the taste of the food. I really, really recommend it. If it tastes better than Korean restaurants, doesn't that say it all? Please make the time to come here. I sincerely recommend it.

26/04/2026: The Real Taste of Home Cooking Found in Paris — Gohyang Sikdang! You know how sometimes, while living in Paris, you miss your mom's cooking? That is exactly when I go to Gohyang Sikdang. Perhaps because they make the filling themselves, the dumplings are definitely different from those I've had elsewhere. Each side dish tastes exactly like the home cooking my mom used to prepare, and my French friends absolutely love the bulgogi 👍 In particular, the spicy jokbal, dogani (beef tendon), and braised yellow croaker are amazing; it’s incredible that they can replicate this taste in Paris. The green tea and perilla seed ice cream served for dessert are also homemade by the owner, so they aren't too sweet but have a nutty flavor that provides a clean finish. And the hotteok... it's actually tastier than the ones I used to eat in Korea. Seriously. 😄 It’s a place I always take guests to, and everyone is amazed! With such great value for money, it is the best Korean restaurant in Paris 🩷 Highly recommended! 👍👍👍👍👍

This is the best cold noodles I've ever had, I'm really amazed! The side dishes here are also especially delicious. Especially the kimchi, the vegetables in the cold noodles, and the potatoes.

22/04/2026: Impeccable service (I was served quickly) and the dishes (dumplings and bulgogi) were delicious. 🥰❤️ The restaurant was very quiet for lunch. I didn't need to make a reservation. It was perfect. ❤️🥰 I had been there a few years ago and it's still very good... I recommend it if you want to try Korean food.

02/09/2026: Excellent restaurant! The manager is very friendly, the meals are authentic and delicious, the side dishes are very good, and the prices are very affordable: €18 for lunch and only €2 for a beer! I'll definitely be back often.

08/08/2026: This is our second visit and it's still delicious. I recommend the kimchi rice balls and the eggplant. I find the guabao a bit pricey: 7 euros each is frustrating considering the portion size; I'd order two every time if they were 5 euros, but they're so delicious that it's easy to overlook the cost. The service is perfect.

26/07/2026: I'm disappointed… I used to come quite often, partly for the duo deal which was €15, really very reasonable, and the guabao were always delicious… but I was surprised when I arrived and saw that everything had gone up (the deal only went up by one euro, but everything else apparently did too…). I was especially disappointed with the guabao. I usually got the fish and tofu ones, but this time I found them really bland, with too little sauce in both. The tofu one had a strange taste that it didn't have before, even though the recipe hasn't changed. The curry gave it a flavor close to cinnamon, and the avocado was too green. The same went for the fish one, where you couldn't taste the mango sauce at all; it wasn't even properly distributed throughout the guabao. However, the fries were very good, the service was really friendly, and we didn't have to wait very long.

02/09/2026: A delightful Korean dumpling restaurant, reservations are recommended as seating is limited, but the entire menu (admittedly small) is excellent. Special mention goes to the seared beef and mackerel tartares, which are the best fish and meat dishes I've had in a while. It's a bit pricey, but reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients and the cuisine. A very pleasant experience at Mandoobar; thank you to the entire team for their attentive service to each table. Looking forward to returning soon!

02/09/2026: Phenomenal restaurant! I love the places with small menus and are hyper focused on quality of the ingredients and execution of the dishes. Mandoobar delivered on all levels and the setting was also very welcoming yet classy. Ordered the tuna, sea bream and beef tartar, and then the kimchi, bulgogi and shrimp mandoo. Everything was amazing. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great meal!

21/08/2026: I visited because I was craving Korean food before catching my train, and I really enjoyed the meal! The bulgogi bibimbap was tasty and filling. The owner and staff were also friendly, which made the dining experience even more pleasant. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area and craving Korean food.

17/08/2026: Korean restaurants abroad tend to have a bit of an old-fashioned vibe, but this place has the atmosphere of a fine dining restaurant. The seasoned fried chicken I had as an appetizer and the spicy pork stir-fry as the main dish were really delicious, and the side dishes and soft tofu stew had a charmingly subtle, balanced flavor. Judging solely by the taste of the food, not just the Michelin ratings and other accolades, the owner seemed like a true master chef.

16/08/2026: The service was catastrophic and the food frankly mediocre. I'll never go back. I really wonder how they can run a restaurant like that… Even taking cultural differences into account, there's still a minimum standard: knowing how to set a table properly and being able to clearly explain the dishes. Here, even these basics seemed completely neglected. It's truly outrageous. After the BTS concert, I simply wanted to eat Korean food and decided to try a restaurant in the neighborhood. Clearly, that was a mistake on my part. I have only myself to blame for choosing this place.
