05/09/2026: Great restaurant by the sea! The menu is small but offers something for everyone, with local and seasonal produce. The portions are generous and the food is delicious 😋 We came on the recommendation of our boat guide and we don't regret it!

We had a fantastic meal at La Cabane du Berger, with delicious dishes and excellent value for money. The staff are particularly friendly, welcoming, and always smiling, making for a very pleasant experience.
The setting is truly superb and unique: eating in the heart of nature, surrounded by cows, adds a lot of charm and is an integral part of the Girolata experience!
The only slight drawback: the furniture really needs updating. The chairs and tables are quite old, and some seemed a bit unstable. We weren't always very comfortable, with the feeling that the furniture might give way or cause us to fall. It's a shame because with some newer, more comfortable furnishings, the experience would be truly perfect.
Nevertheless, it remains a very good place to eat, with pleasant cuisine, reasonable prices, a lovely team, and above all, an exceptional setting. We had a wonderful time!

Cocktails excellents.
Le tout avec une vue magnifique, un vrai moment de convivialité.

10/08/2024: fantastic setting,so you know what to expect re prices, but wow what a let down re my main meal.
my lamb recommended by the waitress was totally dry and tasteless.
on collecting my plate, which was hardly touched, she asked what was the matter.
i explained that the meal was not what i had hoped, being tasteless and dry, she said that other customers had said the same thing today and would feed it back to the chef
you could not make it up.
On giving feedback to the manager when we had paid and were leaving, they were simply not interested.
choose another restaurant if coming there.
This one is now a victim of its own success and is all about the money.
Gutted as sailed half way around corsica to get here on a recommendation.
