Auberge du Goelo
Chatelaudren
07/07/2026: Small restaurant, so reservations are essential.
The food is excellent.
Service: the two staff members do their best.
Price is quite reasonable considering the quality.
The decor is original and charming. We'll be back.
07/07/2026: We've been there several times, and each time we've had a wonderful time. A real gem!

Crêperie du leff
Chatelaudren
05/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at this lovely little crêperie, tastefully decorated and furnished. The galettes and crêpes were delicious, and the owner was attentive and charming. We'd love to go back! 🙂

La Pizzeria
Chatelaudren
22/07/2026: I came in today to buy a takeaway pizza. During the conversation, I was asked where I was from, and I replied that I was Argentinian. From that moment on, the attitude of the people who greeted me completely changed.
I was told that "Argentinians weren't welcome here," that "Argentinians were crazy and racist," and that "everyone in France hated us." I was very surprised and disappointed to be judged solely because of my nationality. I was with two colleagues on this visit, who also witnessed the scene.
Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but no customer should be treated this way because of their origins.
20/07/2026: A must-try!!
We had the four-cheese pizza; the dough was excellent, with a brioche-like crust.
Generously topped with cheese. The addition of Camembert was a brilliant idea!!
Very good, and the two owners were super friendly!
As soon as I'm in the area, I'll be back!!

Au Retro
Chatelaudren
07/08/2026: Dry pizza.
The salad lacked dressing and had far too many wilted leaves.
It's a shame because the service was friendly and they had some original pizzas on the menu.
28/07/2026: We had dinner here and had the very good bruschettone, but the pizzas also look like our typical Roman ones, thin and crunchy.
P.S. It's the only one open here in town on Tuesdays, but it was a great discovery.
