24/08/2026: My partner and I ordered a plate of mussels. I got sick quickly, I won't go into details. In my dish, I found two pieces of blue plastic...
My partner saw the waitress drop a knife and put it back in the drawer with clean knives. My fork was dirty, luckily I didn't have to use it.
The panna cotta was okay.
When I went to pay, I misunderstood what the owner said to me; he looked at my partner and said, "Women, always full of contradictions." Thanks for the casual sexism.
For two Cokes, two mussels and fries, and two panna cottas, we paid just under 50 euros.

The decor is tasteful, elegant, and welcoming, with high-quality bedding. You sleep very peacefully.
Everything is clean and well-maintained, and you can tell the new owners are committed to offering a professional and modern service while preserving the charm of the place.
The breakfast is generous, with excellent products, and the overall atmosphere of the inn makes you want to extend your stay. A wonderful place to stay in Moncontour, ideal for a weekend getaway or a longer break. We will definitely be back!
