15/12/2024: Comment dire..... J'ai envie de demander au cuisinier un autographe, de le serrer dans mes bras et de lui dire "je t'aime" .
Aucune fausse note....
Petit amuse bouche divin.
Plateau de fruits de mer..... j'en ai jamais manger un aussi bon....
Ma femme des riz de veau sauce vanillé.....
Pour moi en dessert un moelleux au chocolat et une sphère café pour mon épouse.
Délicieux 😋 😋 😋
12/12/2024: We came to dine in this magnificent restaurant on December 5 and we had a great time!
We were able to taste the abalone which was prepared with an exquisite heliantis puree.
Everything was perfect!
The turbo was excellent and so were the oysters.
The atmosphere, the decor, the restaurant is warm overlooking the pretty port of Paimpol.
The staff were also very pleasant and gave good advice.
We will return to Brittany and the Neptune will be an obligatory stopover!

25/09/2024: Return to this restaurant after a while because I'm not in the region. Always top notch cuisine, perfect service and very friendly owners. Absolutely worth discovering.
16/09/2024: Smiling welcome, a jovial and dynamic waitress. A pretty room upstairs with a view of the port.
We were very well received, we chose the menu for €32 and we were not disappointed. Fresh products, well cooked, the salmon terrine is delicious, the sea bream fillets are perfectly cooked and I'm not talking about the Pavlova strawberries, a treat.
Lovely attention from the owners for our wedding anniversary. We appreciated the gesture. Thank you again.
If you like fresh products well cooked in a pleasant atmosphere, don't hesitate!

27/09/2024: Excellent restaurant with a view of the port. We were passing through Paimpol for a week, with our little dog. We had lunch on Monday afternoon at Uncle Guy's, and as everything was very good, we decided to return there the next day and every day of the week from September 23 to 27. If you want to eat well, for a very reasonable price, you've come to the right place. The servers are very friendly, attentive, and attentive, there is no waiting between dishes. Without hesitation, I recommend.

17/09/2024: Tataki de saumon insipide -non mariné- (17euros) suivi d'oeuf parfait très imparfait - le blanc est encore glaireux- ( 14 euros) ,çà fait cher l'oeuf quand même, on est en droit d'attendre mieux .... Bref on s'arrête là sauf que le patron va chercher du pain chez les voisins - dont il est également propriétaire- A FUIR ! c'est de l'abattage culinaire si tant est que l'on puisse parler de cuisine !!!

Ordered 4 brandades of cod, served lukewarm (4 people), very fatty (oily) served with salad (3/4 were not fresh).
Very disappointed.
02/09/2024: Très belle vue de la terrasse mais déçu par le menu du jour "entrée plat".
Entrée 6 crevettes plat une brandade de morue très salée .
Pas de pain ni de beurre .

26/01/2025: We are coming to spend 3 days in Brittany and are happy to eat Breton. The warm goat's cheese salad starter, the hyper-salty cheese obviously industrial. I didn't like the andouille pancake at all, the andouille was rubbery and the sauce made me feel bad. My husband didn't like his pancake either.
Disappointed, bad experience, we don't even know if they are local products.
16/01/2025: Great ! Good value for money. I recommend the andouille pancake and the bacon pancake. Very good discovery. I recommend it to those who want to eat a good pancake. Fair prices. The pancakes are large and tender. THANK YOU.

14/07/2024: Déçus !! Nous pensions nous régaler. Plats sans saveur aucune et surtout pas asiatique. De plus repas bâclé, servi un peu trop rapidement, pas top pour une soirée de détente. Repas tout juste terminé, musique d'ambiance coupée. Bof !! On ne conseille pas franchement.

We put in a 20 note, the waiter gives us change for 10, affirming loud and clear that we had put in a 10 note...
Totally lunar.
After politely asking for our money, he gives us change by understating that we were lying.
In short, we will never set foot there again.
13/08/2024: We went to read the menu with the dish suggestions in front of the snack bar to see the paninis, but one of the waiters kept shouting "let me pass", even though there was plenty of room to pass. Then we still went back to order our paninis to take away. But the lady at the cash register told us that she could only give takeaway sandwiches and no paninis, while 5 minutes before the waiter told us that there was no more bread for the sandwiches. This lady also told us “I don’t know if I’ll have time to do them”. The reception was cold, it wasn't pleasant at all, so we left for a competitor.

20/08/2024: Arriving a little after 1 p.m. without reservation, we were well received. Meals taken on the terrace, good and plentiful.
17/08/2024: 12h30. Terrasse bondée, carte prometteuse. Nous nous installons à une table libre et... on nous regarde pas pendant 15 minutes; même pas un bonjour. A l'intérieur je m'addresse à la patronne (?) qui a l'air plutôt irritée (il est clair qu'elle n'aime pas son métier). Encore 15 minutes plus tard, nos boissons sont servis sans un mot. On entend dire une des serveuses à une table près de la notre: "Nan, y a plus de moules!" et "Faut aller ailleurs alors!". J'ai payé (au bar) et nous avons pris la fuite... précipitamment.
