Being the tourists we are, we wanted to eat by the harbor. The restaurant was packed, and the owner was full of humor. He suggested we have a drink on the terrace next door and came to get us as soon as a table became available. The setting is pleasant, the food is plentiful and delicious. The waiters were excellent and particularly efficient. And as a bonus, for dessert, we got to cuddle Marcelline, the restaurant's feline mascot. I highly recommend it; it was a delightful experience.

I've had lunch here a good dozen times in the last two years. No other restaurant I've ever been to offers such great value for money by the sea or with a harbor view!
The lunch menu is unbeatable in terms of quality, the taste of the dishes served from appetizer to dessert, and the generous portions. The service is always pleasant and friendly, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. TOP 👍🏻 Thank you!!!

We had a wonderful time at L'Islandais. The terrace was full, but we were quickly found a very pleasant, large round table inside. The place is warm and beautifully decorated, with an impressive upturned boat hull on the ceiling. The service was impeccable. The food was excellent, sourced from local producers. Special mention goes to the superb oysters and mussels. We were with a person with reduced mobility, and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The restaurant is perfectly accessible, with level access at the back and a wheelchair-accessible restroom. A truly excellent place.

Fantastic experience! We came for all 5 days of our stay in Ploubazlanec, and every evening was a real treat. Thanks also to the staff who were amazing, especially Appoline!

The food was very good. The steak tartare was very fresh and excellent, as was the homemade fish and chips. A great place, but remember to book ahead.
