Le 12 Restaurant
Airvault
05/09/2026: The table was dirty when we arrived, and we were seated in the hallway even though other tables were available.
After an hour, we still hadn't received our main course, and the service was incredibly slow. €60 for two people, and the meal took an hour and a half. We won't be going back.
14/08/2026: The reviews we read were confirmed. During our brief visit to Airvault, Le 12 was very welcoming, with a varied menu, a lovely setting, and very reasonable prices. The set menu was perfect for us: Basque chicken and pollack fillet with chorizo cream sauce and a side of vegetables—simply delicious, beautifully presented, and served.
Thank you for the warm welcome, the service, and your excellent cuisine.
Valérie and Florent. 🤗

09/06/2026: A stop (dinner) during our cycling trip in Deux-Sèvres. A very warm welcome, excellent food, and efficient service. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!
09/06/2026: A quality restaurant with efficient and friendly service. The daily set menu, featuring three courses, offers remarkable value for money (€20). A must-try!

Crêperie du vieux château
Airvault
05/04/2026: Beautiful castle, but it's a shame the host kicked us out because our room, booked four months in advance, had been re-booked by someone else just a month ago (yes, we didn't understand either). It was even worse to find out on the day of our arrival after a three-hour drive. And it was even worse to be yelled at by the host when we asked how it was possible, since he hadn't informed us before our arrival. (I detect a hint of unprofessionalism, don't you?).
In short, don't give this person your money, value your time, and look elsewhere (by the way, Google, still disappointed I can't give zero stars).
