14/08/2026: The reviews we read were confirmed. During our brief visit to Airvault, Le 12 was very welcoming, with a varied menu, a lovely setting, and very reasonable prices. The set menu was perfect for us: Basque chicken and pollack fillet with chorizo cream sauce and a side of vegetables—simply delicious, beautifully presented, and served.

13/08/2026: Honestly, impeccable service, a set menu for under €20 (starter, main course, dessert), beautifully presented and generously portioned dishes, top-quality ingredients (melon/cucumber gazpacho with a wonderfully pleasant texture and refreshing, a perfectly tender pork chop with a perfect sauce, seasonal vegetables, and an axioa served with excellent homemade fries), superb and beautifully presented desserts, friendly, quick, and efficient service, all at a very reasonable price. Nothing more to add... oh, yes, thank you, we will definitely be back!!!

05/04/2026: Beautiful castle, but it's a shame the host kicked us out because our room, booked four months in advance, had been re-booked by someone else just a month ago (yes, we didn't understand either). It was even worse to find out on the day of our arrival after a three-hour drive. And it was even worse to be yelled at by the host when we asked how it was possible, since he hadn't informed us before our arrival. (I detect a hint of unprofessionalism, don't you?).
In short, don't give this person your money, value your time, and look elsewhere (by the way, Google, still disappointed I can't give zero stars).
