31/03/2024: Quiet and cozy place. We had some exquisite local cheeses and then a trout and a delicious duck confit. For dessert, a raspberry cake and an exquisite chocolate cake. Very friendly staff.
23/03/2024: I recommend this place with my eyes closed, the products are local, the cuisine is excellent, simple things are often the best, and this is perfectly the case in this restaurant where the warm welcome is added as a bonus. Well done !

01/04/2024: I came for lunch yesterday Sunday March 31 with my two sons. Great welcome, a boss on the ground and very charming and professional. I recommend this restaurant
23/03/2024: We came for lunch this afternoon with the dog and a baby. Great and very warm welcome with lots of little touches for baby and dog. And what's more, the meal was delicious! The menu at 18€, from starter to dessert, everything was perfect and very good value for money! We recommend & we will come back on our next visit to this beautiful region!

20/03/2024: Excellent stay in this charming hotel where we came with my husband a few years ago. The staff are always so charming. The pleasant room, the bedding of very good quality and the meals very tasty.

11/11/2023: We ate there with 8 adults, what a Périgord feast! From starter to dessert it's homemade, traditional and generous. Great respect to the hostess who goes out of her way to make good things to eat. We are interested in purchasing your products in the future (Yoann Jarron 596 rue de la Chapelle 16590 Brie). Yoann, the only son-in-law 😅
02/11/2023: Charming and kind lady who welcomes you, almost like a mother. Warm, she welcomed us as if we were family. In this charming house, we dined with dishes from Périgord Noir, all home-made cuisine, with local products. A delight !
Everything was perfect . I felt there
comfortable, like in a family home. With all my heart, thank you Isabelle.

Morel scramble and lamb juice, confit farm guinea fowl leg and wok of local vegetables, ideally crispy Madagascar vanilla millefeuille, coffee.. Cloth tablecloths and napkins. Wine list for all tastes
Unbeatable value for money.
A reference today.

Very good Perigord meal: the confit is not bathed in fat like in many restaurants in the surrounding area.
Delicious fries.
And nice little glass of Monbazillac with the foie gras from the starter in a menu at 19.90 euros.

14/10/2023: At first glance Romantic location on the site of an old mill with a beautiful stream. But the hotel is located in a depression below a viaduct over which the road leads with little light and humid air. There is only a small electric radiator in the room. The bathroom has no heating!
07/10/2023: Unfortunately I was not able to go to this hotel which nevertheless looked magnificent...
but I would like to underline here the integrity of the staff, who did not hesitate to cancel my reservation on Booking, with compulsory payment,
because I was too far in my itinerary to be able to go there to sleep. Thank you, good luck to you...

Opening onto the kitchen is the best!
Small downside we would just like waitresses with a bit of a smile would be the best!
