17/07/2026: What a superb experience at Yannick and Laurence's! Here, you'll find the true Périgord region, both on the plate and in the warm hospitality of the hosts. We had a fabulous evening in a bucolic setting surrounded by nature and animals. My only question is: why didn't we come sooner? We will definitely be back! 24/08/2026: A classic, elegant bistro. Located right on the Tremolat market square. Great food; we had a set menu, very fair prices. A bottle of wine for €23. We were there on a mild August evening and had a lovely dinner. The bistro belongs to the Relais & Châteaux across the street. As is typical in French bistros, you pay conveniently at the counter by mentioning your table number. A fantastic system (I wish we had that in Germany). Reservations are recommended. Thank you very much.

23/08/2026: Had a lovely meal this afternoon on the way back in the small village of Trémolet on the Dordogne. Beautiful dishes and friendly service. Unfortunately, I received salmon instead of the ordered trout (and it turned out not to be cooked well enough), so I had to send the plate back and get rosé wine instead of a dry white from Bergerac, but otherwise perfectly fine.
