11/06/2026: We had lunch at La Mousse de Brochet for Mother's Day. The menu they offered for the occasion was excellent, very refined and original; the foie gras with rhubarb was divine.
We appreciated the setting, the warm welcome, and the kindness of the new owners, who are passionate about food.
Everything was perfect. We will be back.
07/06/2026: We were staying at the Chambre d'Hôte des Tours Donay in Saint-Laurent-d'Onay (15 minutes away), and I chose this restaurant for dinner to celebrate my partner's birthday. Truly gourmet, we ordered the appetizer of the same name as the restaurant, the tuna, the cheese mousse, the chocolate parfait, and the calisson—it was delicious! Thank you to the waitress and the chef. Go without hesitation.

05/04/2026: The restaurant is excellent, with top-notch service and a lovely terrace. The rooms are a bit drab and dated. The staff is very friendly.
27/03/2026: The hotel staff at the evening reception were very welcoming.
The room was simple, but very well located. There was no street noise, not even from the party that was taking place there.
The breakfast was plentiful and the cook was very attentive. I recommend it.

13/05/2026: Good restaurant, a bit pricey for the location, but good service and friendly staff. Lunch was very decent, though.
09/05/2026: Exceptional, we stumbled upon this place completely by chance! We started with seared tuna on a bed of lemon fennel, followed by a wonderfully seasoned chicken and pasta wok, and finally, a chocolate fondant with homemade vanilla ice cream—perfect, all for €29.50! My wife and daughter each had sea bream on a bed of cod brandade with ginger—wow!
And the service was top-notch: efficient, attentive, and pleasant!
Highly recommended.

03/12/2025: The meal wasn't exactly memorable, but it wasn't bad. The service was appalling. The waitress didn't know what was on the menu, and if you asked, she just sighed and groaned. The second waitress gave us a murderous look when we paid. We won't be going back. We've had a lot of bad experiences, but service like that? No, thank you.
The response reflects the poor quality of our experience at your establishment. It's a real shame. As for what your friends at the next table may or may not have thought, I couldn't care less. I did mention from the start that I'm picky, and the reasons are personal.

01/05/2026: Craving a pizza worthy of Italy? With a smile, quality, and generous portions? You've come to the right place!
We were a family, from grandma to grandchildren. Everyone found something to love: superb pizzas, as varied and original as they were crispy, delicious meat with homemade fries that would surprise you (double-fried in beef fat, worthy of the finest brasseries)... and to top it all off, artisanal ice cream and homemade whipped cream with a secret ingredient that gives it a unique flavor!
Don't be fooled by the storefront; the food and the welcome guarantee a pleasant experience at a reasonable price.

Kebab Saint Donat

02/06/2026: Don't be fooled by the positive reviews (probably from friends of the manager). I advise against going there, as they confirm the reviews I've read. I can confirm that:
There was a mistake with the sauce in the taco. I specifically asked for no vegetables, but I received them anyway.
Furthermore, the amount of sauce in the taco was very small.
Moreover, I recently learned from other reviews that the meat wasn't halal, and the only explanation they gave was that the staff were Muslim, but no certificate was provided.
I should add that my friend experienced hot sweats and severe stomach pain a few hours later, and it worsened the next day.
Update: She vomited and had to go to the bathroom. (I don't need to spell it out for you.)
The staff weren't wearing hairnets, which raises hygiene concerns.
The meat was dry. I didn't get mine.
Finally, it took 40 minutes to get two tacos.
Avoid at all costs.
21/04/2026: Good kebab (generous portions and nice crispy meat 😋), friendly and efficient staff, very clean place (from the window to the toilets, it's spotless), in short, a very good and affordable place in Saint Donat. By the way, I'm very surprised by some of the negative reviews I've seen in the comments here; I can't believe we all ate at the same kebab shop! 🤔
