La Mousse de Brochet sur Saint-Donat-Sur-L'Herbasse

We had lunch at La Mousse de Brochet for Mother's Day. The menu they offered for the occasion was excellent, very refined and original; the foie gras with rhubarb was divine. We appreciated the setting, the warm welcome, and the kindness of the new owners, who are passionate about food. Everything was perfect. We will be back.

We were staying at the Chambre d'Hôte des Tours Donay in Saint-Laurent-d'Onay (15 minutes away), and I chose this restaurant for dinner to celebrate my partner's birthday. Truly gourmet, we ordered the appetizer of the same name as the restaurant, the tuna, the cheese mousse, the chocolate parfait, and the calisson—it was delicious! Thank you to the waitress and the chef. Go without hesitation.

Dining there two nights was exceptional. The cuisine was innovative, youthful, creative, and fresh—in short, a truly excellent meal. Go and try it; it's well worth the trip. The service was equally kind and friendly. If you haven't yet discovered this restaurant, go and experience it for yourself!

A fantastic find! I have celiac disease, and they adapted their menus very carefully, which is rare. The food is delicious, and the service is very pleasant. I highly recommend it.
