29/07/2026: Avoid at all costs!!!! This hotel is a disaster. A disgrace! The hotel is supposedly being renovated… zero decor, a room with a bed, a chair, and a closet without even a door or curtain! Noisy (okay, it's summer, but there's a bar right below, intense noise until 2 a.m.) impossible to open the window… breakfast is more than basic with expired yogurt in a gloomy veranda where the chairs are upside down on unoccupied tables, it's not exactly welcoming… no bottle of water in the room and dust everywhere in the hallway and in the room… a nice receptionist apologized for my polite complaints… hotel management is a profession, and this is top-level amateurism. What a shame, we won't be returning to the Hôtel de la Houle. And the cherry on top: the prices quoted on the phone are 30% more expensive at check-out!
