06/08/2026: We were a group of 30 bikers in a hurry! The staff were very friendly and efficient. The location wasn't ideal... it's in an industrial park, and yet, we were very comfortable and had a great time. The food was decent, not amazing, but it met our expectations for a group like ours, and we were served in 1 hour and 30 minutes – well done!

31/07/2026: Good food. Family-run business. A friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We opted for the buffet, which was very plentiful and varied. In short, not only did we enjoy a delicious meal, but we also benefited from a lovely setting and an excellent ambiance.

03/08/2026: This place was a complete disaster. We ordered, received our order after 40 minutes, cold and overcooked. Disappointed, I won't be going back.

02/08/2026: Good evening, I came this evening and was very disappointed with the service. A 15-20 minute wait is outrageous, plus the food was cold, without sauce, and they didn't even play Happy Meal, my sister's favorite song. Your waitress was not at all friendly; she was clearly struggling to bring us our trays, didn't even look at us, and we wondered what she was doing there. She has a piercing in her eyebrow area.

26/08/2026: I will try to be more constructive than negative in order to be helpful. The wait for a simple savory crepe is far too long (1 hour 30 minutes), then the crepes are overcooked and the filling is really bland. The sweet crepe is also bland, too thick, and rubbery. Perhaps the batter should be sweetened? And something added to make them softer... But I'm not a cook! Despite this less than satisfactory experience, you did take some action, and we thank you for that. Best of luck to you in the future!

12/08/2026: While staying in Bernay, we stopped for ice cream at this establishment. Excellent homemade ice cream and a warm welcome! A kind and pleasant lady! We will be back.

17/07/2026: The last pastry shop in Bernay! The cakes are excellent (oh, the tarte tatin!), and the ice creams and sorbets are just as good. The service is friendly. My only slight complaint is the limited variety of pastries...

22/08/2026: ⭐ Exceptional review after the Bernay market ⭐ We had a wonderful time in this very cozy restaurant after a morning at the market. The owners and staff are particularly attentive and create a warm atmosphere. As for the food, everything was delicious: the sea bass, the salad, the rump steak, and especially the sweet and savory chicken—a real treat! The very tempting desserts confirmed the experience, with a special mention for the caramel cheesecake… pure bliss 🍰. ‼️I highly recommend this place for its welcoming atmosphere, its delicious food, and its pleasant setting ‼️

31/07/2026: We are very disappointed with our experience. We regularly come to fish as a family at various ponds and have always been well received. Unfortunately, this was not the case here. Upon our arrival, the young woman, who was tired and difficult to understand when taking orders, reprimanded us about our children, telling us they were "running everywhere," which is simply untrue. Our children are very young; they walk, live, and explore their environment like all children, but they remain under our constant supervision. They grew up near fishing ponds and know the rules for respecting the area. We readily accept feedback when it is justified, but not when it does not reflect reality. The tone used was haughty and unpleasant, which made our visit very disagreeable. The person in question, despite their young age, was truly haughty, unpleasant in their manner of speaking and looking at us, and clearly had no experience with young children. We accept the rules and the need for kindness towards children—it all happens so fast—but without exaggeration, exaggerated language, and with gentleness. It's a shame, because above all, we were looking for a friendly place to share our passion for fishing as a family. For our part, we will not be returning and we would not recommend this pond to families with young children who want to discover trout fishing.

12/07/2026: The fishing warden was unfriendly, he didn't even say hello before telling me to put my t-shirt back on, even though I've been going there for over 10 years, only to then talk about me to his bosses using the word "the other guy with his black t-shirt for 77.50 euros a morning." I find that more than a little unacceptable.
