26/04/2026: Seeing the 4 stars, I was tempted. Unfortunately, you shouldn't trust all the reviews… The mussels with Roquefort sauce were way overcooked, with no Roquefort flavor (definitely a store-bought sauce), and the fries were good at first but sickening by the second. Otherwise, the view is better than the food.

25/03/2026: Friendly service, excellent crepes and galettes!!! The galette with goat cheese and sausage with caramelized onions was a real treat.

03/08/2026: Handmade pizza, very fresh and delicious. It had a lot of crust, but we used it as tasty pizza bread ;) The service was very friendly, we'd gladly come again!

02/08/2026: During a weekend in Camaret, we visited this restaurant for the first time. We dined on the covered terrace. We enjoyed our pizzas and appreciated the service and the price. In short, we recommend this restaurant.

06/09/2026: €2 for a glass of tap water. Proudly displayed. You might think it's a joke, but it's not. Illegal and immoral.

15/09/2026: I noticed that most restaurants in Brittany serve lettuce salads with sand in them, but this one was the absolute worst: the waitress told me it was dirt because the lettuce hadn't been washed. Horror! It was cat poop, disgusting! She apologized and changed my plate and cutlery. Furthermore, I just read on their website that they have a chef, but everything is swimming in butter, an addition to the fries, soggy, greasy, a horror! A few days later, I asked the waiter or waitress to wash my salad. I didn't dare mention that in another restaurant (La Voilerie), there was cat poop: it's too repulsive.

21/09/2026: We stumbled upon Captain's on a very rainy afternoon in this charmingly decorated restaurant. We only wanted a coffee, but the staff were so lovely that we decided to linger and indulge in one of their delicious homemade pastries as we were leaving the table! A truly wonderful experience.

13/09/2026: We've travelled all over France and been to numerous restaurants all over France within the last three decades and it took a visit to Le Captain to be completely dissatisfied for the first time. Although the restaurant was half empty at 13:45 the waitress guided us to the worst possible, smallest and shaky bistro table in the corner, which would have definitely been too small for plates, a bottle of wine, glasses and cutlery. When we asked her to get a bigger one she simply said,"No" in an unfriendly way. There is just one thing to say in French: A EVITER!!! Go elsewhere. You have the choice, as there are so many other restaurants nearby.

08/04/2026: The place doesn't look like much, but the welcome was warm. We only tried the "Le Checa" bread and found it excellent. Taste, baking, texture, and shelf life: everything was perfect.

26/08/2026: We received a warm welcome at the ice cream parlor, and the staff were very kind and friendly. We didn't have to wait long at all. Also, when we asked for something extra, they gave it to us. I'd love to go back sometime.

20/08/2026: The ice creams are absolutely delicious and the sundaes are very generously topped! The cappuccino is also generously topped!
