24/06/2026: Today we had lunch at Le Bistrot Provençal and we'd like to sincerely thank the entire team for their wonderful welcome.
We are a group of six Ukrainians traveling to the French Riviera for work (the ones with the big fan 😄) and we were impressed by the kindness and attention we received.
A special thanks to the wonderful lady who always served us with a smile, courtesy, and a rare attention to guests. Thanks also to the gentleman who explained all the parking information to us with great kindness and patience.
We felt welcomed like friends.
The food is authentic, homemade, and truly delicious. Everything was prepared with care, the portions were generous, and the prices were more than fair. A welcoming, authentic place full of human warmth.
We recommend this bistro to anyone looking for good food, a family atmosphere, and people who work with heart.
Thank you for your hospitality and for making us feel so at home. The French are truly hospitable!

22/07/2026: The food is excellent, from the appetizers to the desserts (I recommend the Paris-Brest). This restaurant is a sure bet.
The service is also impeccable and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I recommend it 100%.

The welcome and service were impeccable, with staff who remained friendly and professional despite the pressure.
The dishes are excellent, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The cocktails are also worth trying.

10/04/2026: My first time at this restaurant today, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There was skate with vegetables and a wonderful sauce. And to finish, a delicious apple tart. I'm coming back on Friday for the bouillabaisse. Go without hesitation! 😊👌

In the sun, the calf's head and the Norman-style escalope were very good, and the homemade apple tart was excellent.

13/07/2026: We traveled over 750km to spend a wonderful time at L'Eveil des Sens... and the Chef's magic potion worked perfectly! 😜 It has to be said that Joël puts his heart and soul into everything he does, from his infused rums to the preparation of his dishes and the atmosphere he creates among his guests.
It's always a pleasure to chat after the meal until the wee hours!

07/05/2026: If you're looking for an inn that combines a friendly atmosphere with excellent cuisine, look no further! We were greeted with smiles and genuine warmth. The food was superb, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. A huge thank you to the entire team for this wonderful welcome!

01/09/2024: L’endroit est charmant et bucolique. La salle agréable, la cuisine de bonne qualité. Et il y a une dame Pascale qui est charmante et d’une efficacité remarquable, elle se démène pour pallier au peu d’enthousiasme de ses camarades de travail ! Planqués au fond, blablatant entre eux et tellement peu impliqués que la commande de notre dessert a été oubliée !!! Heureusement que Pascale a rattrapé le coup. Il paraît que le recrutement dans la restauration est ardu, c’est surtout la non motivation des jeunes recrues qui laisse désirer ! Encore merci à cette dame.
23/08/2024: Endroit magnifique au bord de la rivière, par contre le service a revoir, nous avons été obligé de demander pour commander a boire et de redemander s'il ne nous avez pas oublié, malgré le peu de table dans le restaurant.
Les pâtes carbonara pas terribles le reste des plats très moyen malgré une addition pas donné.
Nous essaierons les planches une prochaine fois pour l'apéritif mais dernière fois côté restaurant.

I honestly don't understand the ratings for this establishment.
Or we unknowingly participated in a hidden camera.
The server was very friendly then it was a disaster. An endless wait of three hours to eat a starter or a main course.
But still pass
If it had been edible.
The children's menu with nuggets so cooked that you could have mistaken them for a piece of charcoal.
Even tasteless starters don't make up for it with revisited spring rolls cooked in the same way as nuggets.
Burnt duck fillets for accompaniments, let’s not talk about it.
To conclude, I don't remember eating this badly in many years.
We think that the waiter acted as chef and dishwasher last night.
