24/11/2025: I was very disappointed with this restaurant. The service was particularly poor: when I asked how I wanted my steak cooked, the waiter claimed it was no longer possible to choose, citing some supposed new law. Honestly, it felt like they were just trying to make fun of us. The wait was interminable: almost an hour before we got anything to eat, and during all that time, no one really paid any attention to us. The organization seemed completely nonexistent, and no one on the team was any better than the others. As for the meal, after all that waiting, it wasn't anything special either. In short, a very disappointing experience that I definitely do not recommend.

22/09/2025: We entered the patio a bit by chance for a cocktail... and frankly, we don't regret it. Pierrick gave us a warm welcome, directing us to the very unusual room (a former farmhouse) where there are high tables, low tables, chairs, stools, and large benches. The first evening, we kept it simple with mojitos, which turned out to be excellent. For the next three evenings, we left it to Max, the cocktail master, to surprise us with a new drink each time. They were all to our taste, even though we hardly ever drink alcohol. The Mai Tai/Espresso Martini/Jamaican Mule and Raspberry Daiquiri were lovely discoveries, but he wowed us with a cocktail that tasted like a madeleine... (yes, grandma's madeleine). We will happily return if our travels bring us back to Vallon 😁

24/11/2025: Despite some mixed reviews, we had no complaints; the food was quite good, even very good. 🍲 The portions were generous. 💪 The patio was great and the service was perfect. I recommend it.

16/09/2025: A bit of a shy welcome at first, but a great, friendly atmosphere afterwards. A very good pizza and a wonderful dessert, profiteroles 😋😋, so filling. A great address and a great location to enjoy the neighborhood.

04/03/2026: People are quick to criticize and not very forgiving. Keep in mind that this is one of the only businesses open all year round, even in winter when everything is deserted! And it's open from very early in the morning until late at night.

01/02/2026: Passing through town, with most (if not all) of the shops closed, we headed to this bakery with its pretty storefront. A warm welcome and advice on pastries and places to visit in the area. Gourmet and generously filled sandwiches. We especially loved the frangipane and chestnut cream pastry! I'm surprised by the negative reviews, especially since a quick glance at the window reveals that everything is very likely homemade...

18/11/2025: Clearly, we were dealing with new owners, new to the business, just learning the ropes. The menu displayed on Google Maps doesn't match the restaurant's offerings, but the prices do. Let's give them a chance, but they'll have to significantly improve the service. We ate in a room that resembled a school cafeteria, and it was freezing cold to boot.
