05/09/2024: We called on Philippe Rome for our wedding on August 31, 2024. Great follow-up from the salesperson, Maun. We see that he enjoys his work and is very professional. Reception organized outdoors, the team adapted perfectly to the location, to our needs and those of the guests. Dinner in the evening, coordination with the DJ to send the dishes. Meal enjoyed by us and our loved ones. Nicolas and Lucie

17/05/2025: A great concept for a small restaurant inside the chocolate shop. The focus is on the dessert section with a small buffet. The main course selection is very limited (three Dampfnudel dishes and one daily special).
The location is unique; there's even a former dining car for events with more than 20 people.

11/12/2025: The staff is very friendly and wants you to have a pleasant stay.
It's a shame the rooms are outdated; I was bitten by bedbugs. Management was informed of the situation and did nothing. I find this appalling and strongly advise against staying here.
10/12/2025: I booked a room online for two nights, requesting a wheelchair-accessible room. On the day of arrival, I couldn't even get into the room in my wheelchair.
The wheelchair wouldn't fit through the bathroom.
At €160 a night, it's outrageous. They're treating people with contempt, all because it's the Strasbourg Christmas market and they're fully booked anyway. Thank goodness the market lasts a month...
