17/04/2026: I was lucky enough to be invited to this beautiful restaurant for a 5-course "Pleasures" menu. Everything was exquisite from start to finish, especially the turbot, the excellent brioches, and the rhubarb mille-feuille. Thank you also for the friendly service, particularly from Jimmy :) In this restaurant, everything contributes to a truly relaxing and delicious experience! Thank you to the whole team! :)

23/02/2026: This winstub, with its view of the Ill River and the cathedral, has recently changed hands, making it even more charming. The atmosphere is cozy, the welcome and service are warm and friendly, and the dishes are both beautiful and delicious. You must try the famous potato pancakes with smoked salmon, savor the kidneys with morels, or the unmissable cordon bleu with its divine sauce, the chef's secret recipe for which is closely guarded. And for dessert, there's crème brûlée, chocolate fondant, profiteroles, and baba au rhum, perfect for sharing! We'll definitely be back!

12/04/2026: A lovely little restaurant with a friendly atmosphere where you immediately feel the family spirit. The owner and staff are particularly welcoming and attentive. The portions are very generous, sometimes even a little too much, but that's precisely what makes it so charming: hearty cuisine, just like our grandparents used to make. Everything is high-quality and full of flavor. It's without a doubt one of my favorite restaurants, a place I love to share and introduce to my friends and family.

21/03/2026: I have only one word: sublime! It was my first time there, and I loved it. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the lighting makes it even more stunning. I especially loved the "wall of spirits." The service was top-notch! The welcome sets the tone for the entire place: chic and attentive. Throughout the evening, the staff presented the dishes to us wonderfully. Special mention goes to the sommelier who, despite his young age, was able to guide us and delight us all evening. Speaking of drinks, they're also excellent: varied, with options for every budget, you'll easily find something to complement your meal. And finally, the food: a feast for the eyes and the palate. The chef knows how to work with ingredients to create the perfect combination. The dishes are beautifully presented, and some are literally assembled right before your eyes as the servers bring out the different components. I will gladly return, and above all: thank you!

28/03/2026: The welcome and meal were excellent, the staff were kind and attentive – nothing but positive things to say. I highly recommend this establishment. It's close to Strasbourg train station. Don't hesitate.

22/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! This restaurant offered a warm welcome and typical Alsatian dishes. The ham hock with Munster sauce and spaetzle was excellent. The dessert of the day (vanilla ice cream with red berries), which was recommended to us, was generous and delicious.

07/04/2026: We've been to Umami several times now – both for lunch and dinner – and it's been absolutely fantastic every time. For a Michelin-starred restaurant, the value for money is truly outstanding. The concept is deliberately minimalist: a fixed menu (vegetarian or classic options), hardly any substitutions, and a small team with just one person in the front of house and one in the kitchen. But that's precisely what makes it so charming. The quality of the dishes is consistently very high, without any unnecessary frills. You definitely leave satisfied and don't feel like you've only eaten tiny portions. Worth a visit every time – highly recommended!

Ultimately, three follow-up requests in two days after leaving the restaurant for a review prompted me to post this comment.

Also worth noting is the incredible noise during lunchtime service. If you're looking for peace and quiet, look elsewhere...

02/04/2026: The waiters are well-trained, attentive, and extremely friendly. The wine recommendation was a perfect match for the main course. The ambiance is fantastic. The 1920s interior is defined by the wine cellar in the center of the restaurant, which is an old, transparent cabinet. We will definitely be back.
