13/02/2026: Perfect! My choice of fish was deliciously cooked, the petit fours were excellent, and the setting was idyllic despite the rain. I highly recommend it.

08/02/2026: The restaurant owner isn't going to like my opening comment, but we found the restaurant a bit pricey. However, he'll love this: it was EXCELLENT. Starting with the amuse-bouche of bonito (a type of tuna) and pomelo. A very well-executed delight. And my monkfish was perfect! I thoroughly enjoyed it. A very good mention for the dessert as well. It's just a shame the price is a bit high compared to other establishments, but still a great place. On the Corniche, an iconic location with a magnificent view. The bouillabaisse was of exceptional quality. If the waiter had been friendlier, it would have been perfect! A true gem in Marseille! I enjoyed an exceptional bouillabaisse, full of flavor and freshness. All this with a breathtaking view of the sea and warm service. Thank you to the whole team. Beautiful evening view of the ocean, with the Château d'If in the background. If the Count of Monte Cristo had been served the Peron version of bouillabaisse every day, he would have gone mad within a week. The bouillabaisse—one of the menu's main selling points—is literally inedible. We both managed to get through about a third of what was served, which wasn't even that large a portion. Just two massive problems: the soup and the fish (oh, and also the tasteless rouille). The soup had such an intense, narrow, dark, and balanced bitter flavor that you couldn't eat more than about four spoonfuls. If it had been served as a small, bite-sized amuse-bouche, it would have been interesting, but as the main broth for the bouillabaisse, it was dreadful (and I say this as someone who cooks seriously and often makes very intense flavors). Then there was the fish—grossly overcooked, every piece dry and mushy. A few days later, we went to Michel's to get some bouillabaisse, hoping to salvage our faith in bouillabaisse—I'm so glad I did, it's *incredible* bouillabaisse—go to Michel's instead. We are outraged by this "dishonest" review. We ate in an incredible place, with a panoramic sea view. Everything was delicious from start to finish. It's a family-run restaurant that I highly recommend. The cuisine is light, refined, and excellent. The setting is magical. There was only one drawback: we had a reservation for 9 pm. Knowing there's only one seating, we arrived at 8:30 pm thinking we'd have a drink before dinner. The table was ready. They seated us, making it clear we had arrived too early. The first course wasn't served until 9:15 pm... a wait of 1 hour and 15 minutes. The customer is far from being king.... Exceptional setting, breathtaking sea view, very refined cuisine....a truly excellent restaurant that I recommend without hesitation. What a wonderful experience our first dinner at Peron was! We were visiting a lovely friend in Marseille for two days, and we needed a unique place, one that reflected her personality, to have an unforgettable evening... and that's exactly what we found! Everything came together perfectly: the setting, the atmosphere, the professionalism, the advice, the kindness, the humor of the staff... and the incredible flavors we found on our plates that evening. From the appetizer to the dessert, including the Domaine Mas des Armes white wine, everything was fabulous: the bluefin tuna, the monkfish, the baby squid, etc., etc.... Furthermore, we had booked our table well in advance, and what a pleasure it was to be front and center to admire the magnificent sunset with a glass of Champagne in hand. When gastronomy and expertise are on point, we can occasionally indulge in a little treat to delight our taste buds... Once again, thank you so much...!!!!

29/11/2025: The welcome was warm and the staff very friendly—you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. The meat was cooked exactly as requested, very tender, and the sauce was delicious. The atmosphere is convivial and the dining room is clean.

22/11/2025: Fantastic restaurant. The staff were lovely, with several thoughtful touches throughout the meal that were truly delightful. The set menu dish with the secret sauce was exceptional. The duck breast was also absolutely delicious. In short, a place full of surprises that I highly recommend.

25/01/2026: The waitresses' welcome needs improvement! The first waitress walked past me several times without a greeting or asking if I wanted to be seated. So I took the initiative to ask if it was still possible to eat outside. I chose my table. After a 30-minute wait, the second waitress didn't even glance at me. They hadn't even come to clear the previous customers' table! I tried to get the waitress' attention, but she didn't look at me; she pretended not to hear me. After 40 minutes, still nothing, while the tables next to mine, which arrived later, were served. In short, I left… Luckily, the neighboring restaurants are much more welcoming!

22/01/2026: We had booked for 3:30 pm because we landed at 1:30 pm and didn't want to eat at a fast-food restaurant. Despite the late hour, the waitress/bartender and the cook greeted us with smiles and great kindness. We truly appreciated their warm welcome and attentiveness. A big thank you to the whole team for this pleasant experience. We were a group of four Belgians and we will cherish the memory of this restaurant.

19/09/2025: A unique experience at L'Épuisette. Not being a fan of gourmet cuisine, I was a little apprehensive about leaving feeling unsatisfied when I saw the quantities. But that's not what you're looking for when you come here, and I was amazed by the flavors I discovered. The dishes are well-crafted and very refined, and with the successive courses, you end up leaving with a full stomach. I had requested a good table and my request was respected, which made the meal even more enjoyable. A wonderful memory.

09/01/2026: Don't be fooled by the fact that it's not very busy: this restaurant is clearly underrated. The dishes are excellent, generous, and served in very large portions. All this for a more than reasonable price, which is becoming rare these days. A very pleasant surprise that I recommend without hesitation.

17/12/2025: We came for a business lunch and had a wonderful meal! The food was home-style but very refined, with quality ingredients and generous portions. To top it all off, the staff were exceptionally kind! The team went out of their way to offer us a complete menu that fit our budget. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the background music was well-chosen. Highly recommended!
