21/11/2025: As occasional guests of Vallon de Gayet for over thirty years, I unfortunately hadn't been back for far too long due to lack of time. This oversight was rectified last weekend, and what a joy it was to rediscover this fantastic place, where a flood of memories came rushing back. Delphine and William run it masterfully, having expanded and modernized this wonderful establishment while miraculously preserving its essence and spirit. The cuisine is always delicious and wonderfully authentic, the breakfasts are of unparalleled simplicity and quality, and what can I say about the welcome and service, except that you feel like you're visiting dear family members. A huge thank you to this entire caring team, and especially to Delphine and William, for allowing me to experience a truly wonderful birthday, filled with memories of all our beloved departed. See you very soon!
