08/08/2026: EDIT: back in August 2026, still great. Fresh products, very refined, again a great experience.
A family restaurant in a small village/town a short drive away from the more touristy areas of Charente. A lovely menu on the terrace a warm August evening. We ended up there a bit by chance, I'll certainly go back on purpose.
04/08/2026: The food is excellent, worthy of the best restaurants. However, this creates a disconnect with the setting and atmosphere.
It's a shame.
