05/03/2026: A very pleasant surprise at La Bonne Franquette.
There were four of us adults in training in La Couronne, and we had little time for lunch. The service was quick and very professional.
For €16, we had a choice of two starters, two main courses, and two desserts: a simple, tasty, and satisfying meal.
Special mention to the waitress, who was very professional, smiling, and pleasant.
Don't necessarily rely on negative reviews; the best way to judge is to come and see for yourself.
We will gladly return.
28/02/2026: Another great time spent here. The €16 set menu offers a simple but tasty meal. It's not haute cuisine, but at that price, you get your money's worth. Plus, the servers are very welcoming and the service is quite fast.

21/01/2026: Very welcoming, delicious and generous portions, I highly recommend it. The only slight drawback is that the place is a bit noisy, but you can't exactly stop customers from talking. I had the set menu (main course + dessert) with a beer for €23, which is more than reasonable for the quality offered.
09/01/2026: Excellent restaurant, bar, and café. The food is very good and varied.
This café has a reputation for being multi-purpose.
From serving people in the morning, families at lunchtime, and evenings out, it's a great spot.
A peaceful café for everyone.

14/12/2025: I came two years ago for an end-of-year meal with friends and it was excellent 👍👍
I returned this week for a company end-of-year meal and the service was mediocre. The only positive point was the waitress.
The menu looked very appealing on paper, but the reality was quite different: foie gras toasts with a vinegary taste 🤔 huge dumplings, scallop skewers boiled in water without seasoning, supposedly flambéed with cognac, chicken skewers that didn't even look appetizing. For a service costing €2000 or more, this is really unacceptable for a bar with no upbeat music. In short, disappointed, like most of the staff.
How can a service change so drastically in just 3 years? 🤔🤔
02/11/2025: Excellent venue, friendly welcome.
We booked the "sound bar" room for the second time for a birthday party. The all-inclusive cocktail reception package was quite exceptional, with high-quality service included. Very reasonable prices. Top-notch equipment: sound system, lighting effects, karaoke, projection, and the ability to create different atmospheres: comfortable seating area, bar, high tables.

Friendly welcome
25/11/2025: It must have been 15°C maximum in the room, I had a salad which wasn't good, low quality ingredients piled on top of each other, a dressing that didn't help... Every 2 minutes a member of staff asked for one or two coffees, it was closer to my ears than to those of the person at the bar, I thought it was up to me to go and make them, I didn't go, they didn't hold it against me when the bill arrived, phew!
