26/06/2026: We found the hotel very good; the person in charge was very kind, friendly, and accommodating. Due to personal reasons, we had to stay in Belves three times. We were very happy with our first night, so we returned the other two times. Its location is excellent, and parking was relatively easy, at least in June when we were there.
I recommend it.

I often go to traditional pubs in the north of France, and we stumbled upon this very welcoming family-run restaurant. The food was top-notch, with generous portions and a real sense of homemade quality (rare these days!).
Their ham hock was fantastic 👍, as were the other dishes.
And the service was excellent too 😎. I had a great time; it had been a long time since I'd enjoyed a good restaurant.

21/11/2024: 2 night stay with my wife on the way to Spain Graham was a fantastic host.
The food was excellent and the wine recommended was perfect.I would highly recommend and will hopefully be back again soon.
28/10/2024: We arrived to a warm welcome from our hosts Graham, Damon and their adorable dog Malbec. A short drive from Bergerac airport brought us to the beautiful medieval village of Belves with its stunning views of the countryside. In the heart of the village, nestled amongst other hotels restaurants and shops is the fabulous Planches et Plonk. A very tasteful wine and cheese bar with delicious local produce and wines as recommended by our very knowledgeable hosts. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and comfortable with elegant decor. Breakfast was typically French with delicious and seasonal local produce. Thank you guys for a memorable stay, we will definitely be back some day. Would highly recommend.

Un très bon restaurant, nous étions entre amis avec des enfants/ados, tout le monde a trouvé un plat qui lui convenait et s’est régalé, je recommande
