My partner and I often think about your restaurant, saying to each other, "Wow, that was delicious!" We ate and drank very well, and the staff were so friendly. We rarely get the chance to visit this region, but just to dine at your restaurant, we're planning a return trip. A truly wonderful memory.

11/05/2026: We had dinner at Le Troubadour this week. Nestled in the heart of Hautefort's historic center, the restaurant is housed in a charming old building steeped in history.
We received a warm welcome from the very friendly owners and had an incredible time. The cuisine is refined, the ingredients are local, fresh, and expertly prepared.
The prices reflect the effort put into offering this level of service.
We highly recommend this establishment. A true gem!

The dishes were both beautiful and delicious, the service impeccable, and Julien took excellent care of us. I highly recommend this restaurant for everything: the location, the food, and the owner and his team! Top-notch!

12/05/2026: The set menu is generous and offers a selection of dishes that all look delicious; the daily specials add even more choice. The wine list is very reasonably priced and also features some excellent local wines. The dishes are beautifully presented and will satisfy even the most discerning palates; kudos to the chef for taking the time to chat with his guests. With more professional service and fresh bread, it would deserve 5 stars. A truly wonderful place to visit again and again.
